  DEC 2013 WT Article - Slave for Jehovah - warning: ranting ahead

  this morning's wt study almost made me vomit, stand up, pick up my bag and rush to the door.. of course it never happened.

  instead, i was able to make some nice drawings on my tablet and notepad.. if you replace the name jehovah with watchtower, or the governing 8 men, it would really make sense.. what's up with all that nonstop guilt-mongering about education and having a decent job?!.

  most people look down on the uneducated, and i remember, when i didn't have a job, nobody cared!.

  JWs view higher education as part of the world. JWs are discouraged to attend university but university educated individuals

  have defend JWs in court (lots of pedo stuff). Thats how you "rely on Jehovah", you use the world

  well, as a nice start to the new year, the jan 1st watchtower article, "how firm is your trust in god" blasts those who live comfortable lives, those who don't reach out, and those who pursue higher education.. definitely, they are taking a harsher stand, having completely painted themselves into a corner.. i highlighted the interesting comments.

  i did not include all the text for each paragraph, just the main points.. .

  1 a young man wanted to be more useful to the congregation.

  This thread was an interesting read after today's watchtower. Honestly, the way they demonize Higher education is unhealthy.

  They just take take take ( Doctors, WTBS lawyers, Engineers etc).

  i conducted the wt study tonight on higher education.

  i wondered what the reaction of the bros and sis would be.

  there was no deviation from the idea that a university education is not a good idea.

  Just had this study today you know, i find it so hypocritical that the society discourages and sublimingly tells its followers to not go but instead spend 70 hours a month trying to convert people BUT then they want skilled university educated individuals to volunteer on project such as the new BRITAIN BRANCH Expansion.
