  from 2012 thru 2016, congregations in georgia and alabama collected funds to build a new assembly hall in south atlanta.

  to date, 3.5 million dollars was collected and 75 acres was purchased.

  the branch decided that this assembly hall was not needed.

  picture 185,000 people on the streets attending the biggest event in long beach.

  there is a main downtown street which is the only way into the grand prix.

  it’s chaos because it is not private property that can be contained; these are working boulevards with cars and people vying to get where they want to go.

  I watched a cart gig on Saturday morning - I was in a Coffee Bar across the road from the cart working on the Internet - and in 2 hours they did not engage a single soul nor did a single soul take anything off the cart - They just stood there in a very frozen pose [in a cold wind] and chatted to each other. The man in the party didn't even fetch the lady a warm coffee in all that time.

  As a Social Responsibility initiative they could at least distribute Free Condoms from the cart .......this is after-all Africa where HIV is rife !

  Personal Data Permission (Spain)

  i had the meeting yesterday and there it was announced that there will be a new law passed in spain regarding personal data.

  that law makes it compulsory for the wt spanish branch to collect a signed permission from the publishers to keep and utilize personal data.

  no choice was given to us, we were just told to make sure we hand in our signed permissions before may 18th.

  They don't OWN you and they cannot Strong-Arm you - Don't allow them to walk all over you.

  When they served me with a final deadline to appear before their JC "or we will me without you", I served them with an Attorneys letter informing them the she would be representing me at the JC etc and nothing in the way of actual DF action occurred however the congregants were obviously told privately to shun me - but its not on record ~

  In Numbers 31:15-18, after his soldiers had killed all of the men among the Midianites, Moses ordered his army officers to kill all of the male children, kill all of the nonvirgin females but to save alive all of the virgin girls for his troops. Prior to this, the Israelites had taken all of the animals and goods of the Midianites and then burned all of their towns. If genocide or "ethnic cleansing" is a war crime, then this act of Moses was clearly a war crime…What possible reason could Moses have given in order to justify this horrendous act of genocide? After all, wasn't he the great "law giver"? He claimed that Yahweh, the God of Israel, ordered him to do this, because the Midianites worshiped a deity named Baal Peor. The Midianites felt that Baal Peor was nature's god, the creator of the universe, whereas the Israelites believed that their god Yahweh was the creator. ..
