Yesterday I posted a topic with personal details of one of the RC staff.

i posted a topic with personal contact information on it.

such stupidity and i do deeply apologise to the person and the commission.. it has been taken down thank fully.. this morning i came skulking out of my cave, and with trepidation started the computer and checked my emails.............. there was a lovely compassionate email from the staff at rc telling me not to be too upset at what i had done.

they said they understood and it was important that i not get too distressed at the error.. then they said they were thankful for all the support and gratitude being shown to them from various parties and other places.

I got the impression you too have been a victim ..right ?
It was the compassion of "Worldy People" toward my wife when she had breast - cancer that got her thinking deeper about things- and now she is "out"

I understand the "we" to mean you and I - the R & F reporting it to the elders [not the police] if the perpetrator or guilty one does not approach them on their own. It could be knowledge of adultery / smoking etc etc [Any Serious sin as per WT definitions]

Yet if any R & F member had phoned Service Dept prior to this ARC and taken up the issue of the following:
The Commissioner told Spinks that because they make a detailed examination and have their own internal process of dealing with abuse cases, they have therefore made themselves responsible for the need to report. Spinks confirmed that they think it is the individual's right but the Commissioner pointed out that the elders themselves have made a decision as to whether a person is guilty or not and therefore have this responsibility of knowing that they have identified a criminal
There are laws that deal with people who are hiding a criminal or are fully aware that there is a known criminal and they would clearly know if the abuser confessed.......................
..................You could have ended up in a JC for speaking against Gods channel/ Divisiveness / fomenting apostasy and a string of related "charges".

i have listened to segments of the hearing.. i am really impressed with the way the rc are well informed about jw procedure and the 'flock book'.. does anyone know how the rc got so clued up?

are they just that good at what they do?

(not saying they're not).. have 'mentally diseased apostates(tm)' been of use to the rc?.

I think PunkOfNice said it ....................This is the first time we are seeing Elders not performing on their own stage and they are totally out of depth here - They cant interrupt when they feel like it, falsely accuse when they feel like it etc and they are looking worse than stupid - "A string of Gormless Elders"
IN fact today deRooy could not even articulate and correctly quote the 2 witnesses Scripture - he had to look it up and then made this lame excuse that one would have to read the context first to which the Judge countered and put an end to that - after which came that trump card remark/question regarding whether the executing of awomen for adultery was to be taken literally seeing that the 2 witness scripture was !
