Seriously, though, their paranoia speaks volumes. This scripture is working on the basic assumption - the truth should be able to stand on its own - and if God is on your side you have nothing to fear.
But let's be honest. This organization is way past even pretending to have that kind of confidence.

Who is the FDS class from midweek meeting....last night
by Legacy inlast night we had our midweek meeting.
the bible reading was from "who is doing jehovah's will....the part where they asked who was the fds.
i thought because of the past sept. wt, every hand would go up....all you heard were crickets.

Interestingly I heard the brother at our hall use the term "slave class" from the platform, but I was in the back doing other stuff and thought it was odd considering the "new light".
Well I just read over the lesson and that class term isn't in there unless I missed it. So the brother was really confusing the audience at our hall it appears.
Also even though the brochure is from 2012, it seems to already be in line with the then-future new light in its ambiguous description of who the slave is.
That is unless they have already revised it? I am looking at the one from jw.org. Anybody know if it has been changed from the original release?

Have JWs and other Christians completely missed the point of Matthew 24:4-8?
by Island Man inmany people think those verses are suggesting that the wars, earthquakes, food shortages, etc are all a sign that the end is imminent.
however, a careful examination of the context seems to suggest that jesus was actually forewarning his followers not to draw such a conclusion from such events.

Biggest pain in the side of the Governing Body of JWs
by oppostate inat http://www.anointedjw.org/ a higher eschelon jw mentions that at a meeting of co's with do's it was stated that anointedjw.org website is the biggest pain in the side of the governing body.. do you feel that what's being published at anointedjw.org is having a big effect on the gb and / or on the congregations?.
if so what is it about their articles there that are opening jw eyes to an awakened state where so many others have tried and failed to awaken jws?.
what do you foresee could hapen as a result of pressure from anointedjw.org and their articles on the gb's attitude and their reactions?.

Governing Body humility: crapping their pants and admitting it stinks

any job worth doing is worth doing right the first time.. but, this would not seem to apply in the only organization on earth claiming to be solely guided by jehovah!.
in the watchtower society, the governing body gathers in a board room and prays, discusses and votes.. presumably the prayer invokes holy spirit of jehovah.

They brag about unity so much, but unity based on fear and lies and "doublethink" for miles - is no real unity at all.
Controlling mind games is not unity.
Tell the truth, GB, and see how much unity you have.
Be transparent about your finances and accounts and money flow and see how much brotherly unity you have.
Publish the minutes of your "spirit-directed" governing body meetings and see how much unity you have.
Include all of your past publications on the website online library and see how much unity you have.
You won't do any of this. Why? Because there is no unity. There is only fantasy perpetuated by deceit.

That at least gives us a rational explanation.
It's just that IBM doesn't tell you you will be killed in the not-too-distant future if you don't comply.
They don't claim to represent the almighty creator of the universe.
They don't threaten to completely shun you or take away your family and friends.
In fact I'm pretty sure if they did, they would have there butts handed to them in a courtroom.
Interesting the difference in latitude given for the label of religion.
