For this to happen, I think you need to secretly install sensors or trackers in JW members' preaching shoes, ties, pants, or skirts, or... bags, and then have a centralized machine or portable device that will collect their GPS information. This will in turn, communicate to your vehicle and allow you to take detours as much as possible.

Waze app for JWs
by enigma1863 ini don't know how many of you have used the waze app.
it's a useful navigation app that alerts you to police and construction zones in route.
a lot of people use it to keep from getting a ticket.. i thought it would be funny to have one that alerts you to jws in neighborhood..

Praises the WT for JW apps but sneers at members with higher education, in 2018
by ohnightdivine ini guess we all know the answer why this still happens... but really, why?.
just a month ago i was having some conversation with this sister and since i'm on inactive status, she was trying to get me to download all those jw apps because the "work is speeding up" and i shouldn't be missing out on anything from the org.
especially when they come up with all these "provisions" that intend only to benefit the members.

Why would anyone dare to "ignore" these apps that are already laid out so beautifully for us to use, was her point, spoken in a nice way.
But then I forgot she is one among the members I know that don't agree much about people going to universities, since WT does not like people pursuing higher education.
My point is, and I know that everyone already knows this (I only wanted to get this out of my head again), is that:
- How will you develop these JW apps if you don't have software engineers, project managers, UX designers, software testers, cloud engineers, database administrators, etc? The reason you are finding these apps to be "beautifully created" is that the people behind these projects STUDIED in college. Web development? Mobile app development? Project Management? Most of the technical stuff need to be learned systemically at school. These aren't something one can learn on a weekend.
Same goes for all the medical advancements (including what is always emphasized as breakthrough techniques in bloodless surgery, etc.). I guess WT and some its deeply-indoctrinated members forget that doctors and researchers wouldn't have had achieved that if they did not pursue higher education.
Same goes for lawyers who need to defend the WT from all these child abuse cases. Don't you think they studied back in college and even pursued their own specializations?
Ok, that's it. Rant over..

How many are PIMO ??
by Phizzy ini know we cannot answer this, how many are physically in, mentally out (pimo), but i heard an amazing piece of news the other day.. an ex-p.o and ex-elder, a long time regular pioneer, and when i knew him a stalwart believer, went for a drink with another jw who has actually left, but is not df or anything.. in the course of conversation he came out with this bombshell "well, i am actually an atheist now, i just go along to keep my wife happy".. i also heard of a number of youngsters that i know personally who are simply living their life as they want, whilst making sure they don't get df'd for family and social reasons.. if as it seems the pimo's are a huge number, could there be a huge " awakening" where they all realize they are in a huge group, and they all say " eff it, lets call it a day on all the jw s**t ".
?.
wishful thinking, but.....just possible ?.

I Waited Until My Wedding Night To Lose My Virginity And I Wish I Hadn't...
by Divergent ini found this article interesting & just wanted to share.
after going through my teenage years trying to be the perfect jw, i realized that trying to live up to the standards imposed on me have been for worse & not for better.
i was feeling miserable, repressed, unfulfilled, with a great lack of self confidence & self esteem.

Whatever happened to the KINGDOM SMILE???
by Latte inwhilst sat in my car at some temporary traffic lights recently i saw what looked like a co doing his bit of encouraging a young boy in the f.ministry , he had his hand on this young boys back (kinda distant for a dad) i smelt a co immediately!
lol.
the road was narrow, and then low and behold!

Agree with you, LongHairGal!
It's really awkward to be surrounded by people with permanent smiles...
I'm someone with a neutral expression or even RBF especially when in deep focus, but I remember my 'Bible study conductor' telling me to manage my facial expressions more. :D

Hi smiddy3,
Oh, I don't know about the 'preaching' work that you have there but during the occasional times that I joined the 'preaching' activity here in the area, I only had to hand over some magazines at apartment/condominium lobby reception desks. [This was another factor in my waking up to TTATT--very lax 'preaching' culture which I thought was an insult.]
After waking up to TTATT, I could no longer stomach talking about the 'truth' directly to a householder. Hence, my 'fade'. I haven't gone out on 'field service' for the last couple months or so.

I had to post in here as well. The 'kingdom smile' is alive and thriving!
Even my JW 'friends' on Facebook always makes it a point to add hashtags
of that 'kingdom smile' and 'best life ever'. Oh well... whatever makes you happy.

I'm afraid I'd be single for life
by ohnightdivine inthis is quite embarrassing for me to share, but as a 30+ year old single female i have lingering doubts as to whether i can still meet a decent man and get married.. you all know how difficult it is for sisters to find an appropriate partner in the congregation.. and now, all the more so that i've learned ttatt.
i still am bound by low self-esteem, and i do have trust issues, especially with men.
i am very lonely and so i just keep myself busy with work to avoid depression (although it is also a great source of stress).. any other single females out there having similar thoughts?.

Hi Ding, yes I think I haven't made myself clear enough... I have no intentions of marrying in the 'truth' anymore. :D

How is everyone now? Has anyone married another JW recently, or married 'outside the truth'?
I am still single now in my mid-30s lol.

Hello everyone!
Gosh I can't believe I would still be able to log in to this site after around 4 years. I simply just forgot my password and got the lightbulb back in my head a few minutes ago. :)
Not sure if anyone can still remember me (I was just one of those occasional passers-by a few years ago with some relatively depressing experience after waking up to TTATT).
In the last 4 years, I:
- was extremely busy in my corporate job
- because of the above, had "valid" reason to act "spiritually weak"
- still went to meetings maybe once a month
- completely disenganged from "light shining brighter" stuff
- still believe that doing what is good is good; and doing what is bad is bad
- did not engage in immoral relations whatsoever (the deeply indoctrinated ones might not know this is possible)
- did not actually have any sort of romantic relationship with other people
- was really really busy with work, got promoted, now left my job to stay with the family
- still maintain somehow close relations with a few JW 'friends' in the congregation
- am no longer participating in the 'preaching' work, only occasionally
- decided that I needed to start forgetting about the emotional pain I have experienced.
- noticed that even 'Special Pioneers' give up their 'privileges' to pursue romantic relations
- confirmed that some of my JW 'friends' also have doubts about the organization but are just staying because of their families.
Hope everyone is well and... it's almost Christmas season!
Warm regards,
OND
