i'm completely flabergasted at what happened with a couple in my old congregation recently.

they are still active.

the guy messages me that they had their baby and will be at a local hospital for the next couple days.

My spouse and I have had a number strange experiences with fading. We are completely faded now but have made it a point to try and live with a strong moral compass and also by the Golden Rule.

We must let our light shine and show the active JWs that life outside of the ORG is good! The "ransom for all" Bible teaching that I learned from my studies with the Bible Students has completely changed my outlook regarding active JWs. They are overwhelmingly good people with good motives. However, Satan is blinding them using the religious powers. All with be remedied by the Lord, Christ Jesus, soon. It is already happening. False religion already lost most of its power in the early 1900s. We are not seeing its remaining institutions losing membership relatively quickly. Look at European church attendance!

You do realize that in virtually every developed nation, with exception to the United States, midwives handle all births and OBs are only brought in when there is an emergency...dont you? I have studied how OBs handle the birthing process and it is appauling. There have been numerous studies performed which show that women are much less likely to need advanced medical intervention under a midwife's care.

I'm completely flabergasted at what happened with a couple in my old congregation recently. They are still active.

The guy messages me that they had their baby and will be at a local hospital for the next couple days. So I say that I will try and swing by. I swing by and say hi to him, wife, and baby. They tell me the story of how she went into labor and the hospital checked her blood levels immediately (no bleeding yet). Horrible levels regarding safety for pregnancy. They tell me they had the levels checked at the third trimester and everything was fine. She had to refuse petocin and the older JW sisters were helping her contract with "cranial sacral" and other "natural methods". She did all this because the Dr.s started asking her "how serious are you about the blood issue". Petocin can cause such strong contractions that it can cause complications and c-sections are sometimes necessary. the doctor and themselves were scared that she wouldn't survive the c-section. So, she had 22 hours of hard labor because she wouldn't take petocin! gah!!!!!!!

my question is: why are the congregation elders not checking with EVERY pregnant JW woman to make sure she gets blood work right before expected labor dates!? didn't they have a leaked document regarding this a couple years ago?

Wait...Jesus died on the cross/stake for the for the sins of the "world" and he is going to battle the nations to save only lets say 8 million witnesses (some are unfaithful). This makes Jehovah look dumb, which he is not. Damn Rutherford. Russell had a better thought about this.

The Bible Students reject what Rutherford taught completely. I have been studying with them for about 4 months, but have no plans of "consecration" (baptism) anytime soon. They are extremely nice folks. And, a lot of their biblical explanations make a lot of sense. I guess you would really have to get a background as to what they believe, because it is WAY different than JW's beliefs.

just wanted to say thank you to all of you for everything over the last 3.5 years.

i am completely faded now.

i no longer suffer from major anxiety/depression, well versed on cults and how to protect myself, continually searching and taking in knowledge regarding my own relationship with god.

Hang in there anyone new here or still in! It gets better! Hit your knees praying anytime you feel like its all just too much. God will provide.

I look forward to the day when Christ removes this wicked religion.
