  Jehovah's Witnesses denial of what they are supposed to believe from Watchtower

  one of the most frustrating things.

  when you confront jw's about what they believe they will often deny it.

  such as "if your child is disfellowshipped then you can't have contact with them ever again".

  The Resurrection narrative can make perfect sense if you consider it to be a lie.

  there are aspects to the resurrection story that seem unnecessary but make perfect sense if you consider them as patches to shore up the lie of jesus' resurrection.. (1) why did there have to be angels present at jesus' resurrection?

  there is no other resurrection account in the bible that mentions the involvement of angels.. possible explanation: jesus' disciples really did steal jesus' body from the tomb.

  two or three of them ambushed and knocked/drugged unconscious the guards on the scene before stealing the body.

  WMSCOG - Another cult à la Watchtower

  was reading up on the world mission society church of god, or wmscog for short, a south korean church founded in the early 60s by ahn sahn-hong.

  the church has a million+ members in over 100 countries.

  they believe in god the father (jehovah) and a god the mother, whom they claim to be a living south korean woman named jan gil-ja.

  so their the very essence of love so we are taught so then why at luke 14:26 jesus says in order to be his follower you must hate your mother, father, wife, brothers and sisters.

  then you must renounce everything you have.

  Good Points @Island Man

  God of Love tells us to:

  Stone a rebellious son to death

  Stone a daughter to death who cannot prove her virginity

  Stone a person to death, if he picks up sticks on the Sabbath

  Rip open pregnant women.

  Hate our families, ditch them and go after him.

  Kill those who stumble his worshipers. (I'm in this list for sure)

  Oh, got to do some chores, will continue later.

  In my opinion, they are far better than Watchtower because they serve the Community, outside their religion. (If the accounts in this Video are true!!)

  The time remaining is short, as per WT and hence I use it effectively to to wake up the "Unthinkables" inside WT.

  so they began taking as wives all whom they chose.".

  it may be feasible to some to accept the bible's assertion that the first humans were tempted to pursue independence from god, especially since they were created in his image and he is independent from any authority.

  When I was a JW, I used to amuse myself how the dubs used to react to such announcement about important announcements. They would get overly excited as if Armageddon date is going to be announced and then implode like a deflated balloon, when it ends up as a local announcement

  Jehovah instantly wipes out the ancient tribes for rebelling or not worshiping him or for other silly reasons. But still he hasn't destroyed the rebelled mighty angels who are far more powerful than humans.

  i was a jw for 11 years , came to know ttatt and wrote my disassociation letter 5 years ago.

  since then i had been an atheist and trying all i can to spread awareness for “still in” members.

  my wife and mom are still jws and i do get along with them perfectly.
