by pistolpete inso you all probably heard that the awake magazine is back, .
https://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines/?contentlanguagefilter=en&pubfilter=g&yearfilter=.
and one of my jw relatives said they were told by some elders that meetings and field service will resume before the end of the year.. they said this covid virus was a test, like when the romans breached jerusalem and retreated, only to come back later and sack jerusalem.

This is the bloody sacrifice of Solomon, in 2 Chronicles 7
142,000 animals slaughtered and sacrificed ? in 2 weeks. Here is the breakdown, if I am correct
71,000 per week
10,142 per day
422 per hour
7 cattle per minute.
Wow, Mind boggling. Could this have happened? Very unlikely. If happened, for what purpose?. To please a god living in the heaven, with all comforts and glory.
My Conclusion: The bible writers were propaganda freaks, trying to establish the glory of their non- existing god. They were Just randomly writing down Exaggerated and impractical numbers. No one in their time would have believed this, until the RC church adopted the Bible as Gods word.

Why did Jehovah choose false prophet apostates as his chosen earthly organization (1919) ?
by Rocketman123 infrom a theological and biblical perspective, this has to be asked and critically examined.. the doctrines this organization and its self described fdsl (gb) chosen ones has preached and taught have now more than ever have shown to be false teachings.. the bible warns of false prophets and those who say things that god has not given them to say but the wts from its earliest beginning made proclamations such as jesus's return in 1874.. so if one were to faithfully adhere to what the bible says and more so jesus's instructions for preaching his gospel of a new kingdom to come, who really are jws loyal to, the wts.
and its top leading men or jesus and jehovah ??
?..

Bible is false, Jehovah is false then why bother about some "False" Prophets.
Actually the word Prophet is a misnomer. Nobody can predict the future. If they do, they would rule the world

Why did Jehovah Kill all the animals in the flood? What purpose did it serve??
by pistolpete insome of my jw family that is waking up posed that question to my jw family that is still hanging on to jw belief.. the stepbrother that posed that question told me;.
"in all these years of being a jw, i actually never gave it much thought as to why jehovah had to kill millions of innocent animals that had nothing to do with mankind becoming evil.".
i keep picturing in my mind, all the baby puppies and kitties that were destroyed by jehovah.

Not only the flood. Even after that Jah commands his beloved war mongers - Moses, Joshua - to slaughter all animals, while they invade a nation

Development of a False Prophecy
by Ding inbased on wt history of repeated false prophecies, here is the way these things seem to develop:.
1. someone connects unrelated bible verses and comes up with a date for the end.. 2. this date is "confirmed" by outside information, such as pyramid measurements.. 3. they share this "hidden knowledge" with others.. 4. they develop a following of people who are excited to be the only ones on earth who understand "the deep things of god.".
5. they promote the date.. 6. people laugh them to scorn.. 7. the faithful cry "persecution" and wait expectantly.. 8. as the date approaches, they get more and more excited.. 9. when the date is imminent, leaders get worried and start to hedge their bets through cautionary language.. 10. when the date comes and goes, they come up with some explanation (adam-eve creation gap, no year 0, etc.

Your WT Modus Operandi is correct. Almost all cults operate the same way
The word Prophecy itself is fraudulant. There is nothing such as a Prohecy. Nobody can predict the future.
False Prophecy = False Lie.
All lies are false. Does False Lie make any sense ?
Thats my honest opinion.

What was the defining moment that started your becoming a JW ?
by smiddy3 inlet me explain what i mean: i was in the company of a workmate when i looked at my hands and my arms and pointed out the veins and said something like look at that, isn`it amazing how veins and arteriies circulate the blood through our bodies ?.
he later explained to me he wasn`t sure what he should say to me as we had been working together for about six years and he had never once brought up about his jw background .he was what we would call a weak witness and he considered me a street kid who swore and drank too much.
i was twenty years old at the time.. i can`t remember the actual conversations that transpired ,but thats what started me down the road to becoming a witness and then convincing my gf to join me and about two years later we were married in a kh.. can you point to any one thing or conversation that started you down the road to becoming a witness?.

I was so much fed up with my then protestant beliefs. The JWs then presented me with a shining, glittering, truthful?, everlasting life package that was so irresistible.
And they said that Christendom glossed over Jehovah’s name and it’s only the JW who use it.
That created a sort of Sympathy over Jah and I surrendered.
An Almighty god, who kills people instantly for petty things, can’t protect his own name in his own holy book. I never had this question in mind when I fell for it. Common sense matters most in life

Research question
by JeffT ini'm doing a little background research for a novel.
what is the craziest thing you heard a witness say was demonized, and what did they do about it?.

Sis X bought some things from a Christiian Charity store and when she bought those things home, her dog barked violently at those things. She got rid of those "Demon possessed" things and her dog calmed down.
When I was turning an Apostate, I bought the "Crisis of Conscience book". My JW spouse reported this to the elders who came witch hunting on me. I was told to destroy that book - Shred into pieces so that nobody reads it again. I handed it over to my spouse who destroyed it.
I have some fancy color serial lights at home . Whenever JWs visit my wife, she hides it. Jehovah is not happy with those colorful serial lights, which are used for CHristmas. -

There is plenty of eyewitness testimony that establishes it.
My Testimony
There are plenty of eyewitnesses that saw my great grandfather resurrecting many people. Of course those eyewitnesses are no more alive and have not written down anything about it. And I dont know their names either.
And my grandpa is gone too.
Its all hearsay from their generation to meIf you beleive this you would be rewarded, Else Punished

Except real Christianity, which has nothing to do with your own works but everything to do with what Jesus has done, where salvation is a free gift that cannot be earned.
Christianity is real. Really ?
The gospels were written 40 years after the supposed miracles of Jesus and they were adopted by Romans, edited, compiled, edited, compiled, edited, compiled ,edited, compiled and still there are numerous verions of the Bible, having their own Interpretations...
BTW, what is salvation ? Nothing but hypothesis theory to Enslave mankind
