If the Almighty, Powerful, benevolent God had a book written for humans, what would it contain?

i know for a fact it would not start off with a talking snake, magical fruit, invisible beings that desire beautiful women to have sex with.. and it wouldn’t end with a flying dragon, a two horned lamb, locusts that resembled horses with men’s faces, but with women’s hair and teeth of lions.

and the book wouldn’t allow for hundreds of millions of religions to spurt from it.

i think the first thing a book written by god would have, is that it would be written in a way that all languages could understand without being translated.. regardless of what language you would speak, we could read it and understand what it said.

My dad didn’t write a book for me to read and know about him. He stood for me all the time and did everything and protected me until his Lifetime. I have his memories and live by that now.

I expect GOD to do the same. But he/she doesn’t.

Even if a book is written by God these should be present:

Chapters about Human Physiology, germs, Universe, Natural forces, Explanation for Natural disasters, a complete chapter about Economics where poverty wouldn’t be present and many more.... for the welfare of each species on the planet

But what it contains (Bible)

Fairy tales of Talking snakes and Donkeys, Zombies, Blood bath wars, Vengeance, Ignorance and finally a despicable human Sacrifice that supposedly saves mankind

The Technique of the preacher knowing about sick people in the crowd is an age old cheating method. The Preacher uses his intelligence personal to gather info about the Sick persons in the crowd, before the meeting, and would call out names during the preaching. This is done worldwide by most of the Christian preachers.

As titch said, can an amputee get his organ back in the healing process? NO.

Can terminally sick people be cured? NO

My friend who was a pastor recently died of a sudden cardiac arrest. He was only 52 and had 2 school going children. He preached about Jesus all the time and was very sincere. How about this.

Of course I appreciate the good things Christianity has done. Schools and hospitals and Home for the aged and Destitute.

But it does these Pseudo Scientific and Fraudulent preaching methods also.

know two people who were healed of serious medical conditions, one of cancer and one (Velma) of cerebral palsy. Velma was quadriplegic, couldn't walk, stand sit or talk. Her father was an Atheist as a result. Her sisters took her to a faith healer and she came home walking and talking

Hard to beleieve but if they had recovered from their sickness, I am happy about that.

And if you would please let me know that faith healer who healed, perhaps I can try.

As I said I had been a Protestant for 32 years and a JW for 11 years and had made thousands of fervant prayers to Jesus. He never responded. It was like taking to a wall. He didnt respond to even more Zealous christians than me.

These concepts of "Believe in jesus", get saved, eternal life are all just wish ful thinking . They dont have a tinge of evidence but provide ample comfort who are terrified about life and death.

The historicity of Jesus is very shaky. And the miracles he promised never happen to anyone today. Despite that, people still beleive and advocate him. Thats how humans would behave. Believing in a hypothesis that gives them 24/7 comfort

Trying to Proving the Divinity of the Bible is as futile as trying to prove the divinity of other religious books.

Ok, Trinity is not found in the Bible Agree. That doesn’t make the Bible Superior or Attest itself to be Gods Word, as claimed.

The supposed Jesus was as ignorant as like the common man of those times. If he was divine he would have spoken about our Solar System, Stars , Universe, Gravity and germs.

And this human sacrifice (To supposedly forgive the Hypothetical sins of the world) is a barbaric ancient practice. It is totally illegal now , morally wrong, cruel and criminal, as always. Why Glorify it?
