just wanted to illustrate the value some collectors put on the old watchtower stuff, and that it is wise to hang onto it and if someone wants to 'pay through the teeth' to acquire it, well and good, because that way it is preserved, and not gone and forgotten, but rather the watchtower's rich heritage lives on and the litter-chewer & sundry memorabilia is on someone's shelf or in their display cabinet for anyone to see in case there's a future challenge that such never existed.. who in their right mind would pay over $13 bucks for a little worm-eaten tea bag??

ps. your bible thoughts - it seems to me like everything is cool with the bible if you just dont blow it out of proportion - it's the story of a history of a particular people/culture - israel - isreals relationship or form of worship of IT'S "god" and then with a few added other events tacked on - like for example - the appearance & disappearance and re-appearence of an odd messiah here or there - it teaches you some lessons about life and how to have a relationship with isreals particular "god"/s - if you want to - just like the holybooks of lot of other faiths do - except you worship their particular "god" according to their particular description of how thats done - and so on - around the world - more or less
what if you allow for the possibility that maybe these books weren't written by god in the sense of what most people would expect a book written by god would be - or should be
what if a book written by god could be fallible? what if it was no more inspired than that of an inspired poet? -
what if a book written by a god didn't have to be believable? ag.

just got off the marijuana thread and now i think i'm seeing double - cool rave clouds - i dug it - i remember you talking about the political aspect before but i think i'm starting to see what you are getting at - which is something i hadn't thought about too much - it was interesting the way you put your idea across - well what i'm talking about is the same idea but on a much smaller level - much more of a microcosm - trying to sort the political shit out of a small group of people - maybe even as small as - two? - there's usually some kind of politics going down - personal agenda - in all it's variety of shades - getting past that - and not caring about that difference - the difference between yourself and another individual - i suppose that's where i am - my thoughts kind of are - amongst other seriously out there places - far too profane to mention on a christian bulletin board - - (this is my alfred hitchcock style of writing in case you hadn't noticed) ag.
