  wow.

  it just doesn't seem like 15 years have slipped by since i was tossed.

  i still think of my friendships and the people i knew in terms of the way i knew them then.

  Floors are designed to be walked on. Clothes hampers keep the dirty clothes 4mm above the floor, so you still have to bend over to transfer them from hamper to washer. Get over it, you probably do shit that annoys the bejeezus out of him.

  JW funeral! Help!

  my grandma died yesterday.

  i love her very much and miss her terribly.

  she joined the jw's late in life after years of my mom coaxing her to join.

  I was at a funeral about 3 months ago. It was for my nephew. He had a family only type service at the crematorium, followed by a full blown JW service at the hall. My reason to attend was to pay my respects, support my brother and immediate family and to give a good witness for all the people that had woken up and got out.

  Go to the service and be yourself! She didn't cut you off so go and spend the most important few minutes together for the last thyme!

  Geneva convention anyone? Surprises?

  i heard that a few surprises are in store for those attending the sydney convention later this year 2003. i heard this 3rd hand from someone attending the geneva convention recently.

  i was just wondering if someone could clue me in?

  My brother is visiting Hobart in Dec. First 3 days of his holiday will be the convention. Then he's coming around to destroy a bottle of Glen. I'll have to ask him what he learnt.

  how are you still affected?

  sure there are some of us who have been "out" for years and others that are only out by their mindset but due to many reasons still have to save face.. in what ways do you still feel the hold of the wt in you?

  do you still pick out your music/movies carefully?

  does nudity and/or language still offend you to a deafening degree?

  Further to the above.. I find when a non dub prays that there is use praying along. Also when a dub prays, I fall asleep with all that spiritual food crap. Doesn't particularly bother me, just there is no real feeling there.

  Christmas. I've been out over 20 years. Married a real person and had kids. jmack has always put up a tree, and took the kids to carols and opened presesnts and had a big feed on Christmas day. I feel like its nothing, nice excuse for a beer.

  the wt-society released nine cds called "kingdom melodies - orchestral arrangements of songs from 'sing praises to jehovah 1-9'".. on http://classical-music.mainseek.com/39794/25-22612/wbx26xt_society/kingdom_melodies_%28cd_1%29/page0.html there are the tracks of cd number 1; but i think it's not the correct order.. has anybody the list of the tracks on the cds???.

  but i don't mean the cd "sing praises to jehovah" or "singing songs to jehovah".

  cd's????? When I was a boom swinger/sound wallah it was nothing but vinyl and valves. Don't they know that CD's are made from ALUMINIUM.

  there were sayings used over and over again to control my behaviour.

  the biblical on bad associations spoil useful habits and another on just because everyone else does it doesnt mean you have to do it to, would you jump off a cliff just because other people do what were the sayings that bugged you?
