  Another heart-worming story

  today, i got an email from an old friend with a story told by brother andre ramseyer who attended training at patterson in england.

  a service dog regularly attended the meetings with his owner.

  when the owner passed away, the dog was given to another blind man.

  I have some really smart animals, but I don't think an animal could recognize days of the week. I don't think the dog could have known which days were Tuesdays and which were Sundays.

  Supernerdboy, I agree with your post.

  I have no feeling one way or the other about whether China created the virus, but I think it's wrong to call those who consider the possibility "conspiracy theorists". As for the fact that Chinese Individuals have contracted the virus, well, I think the Chinese government couldn't care less about the rank and file Chinese and would sacrifice them in a heartbeat to serve itself.

  Earth Boxes - Has Anyone Here Tried to Use Them to Grow Vegetables

  with some extra time on my hands (putting it mildly), i decided to try planting some vegetables using these things called earth boxes.

  they are basically rectangular tubs with the soil suspended a few inches from the bottom using a screen and you put water into the bottom and you just add water through a tube to the bottom and the plants get their water from beneath instead of adding water from the top.

  then you put a plastic covering around the plants so that weeds don't grow.

  Considering the history and reputation of the Chinese government, I see nothing wrong with exploring the possibility that it created the virus. To call someone who wonders about such a "conspiracy theorist" is, I think, at best, immature

  Individuals and governments can be and many are evil & self-serving. The term "conspiracy theory" has a negative connotation but I say it shouldn't. For thousands of years Individuals and various entities have "conspired" or come together to achieve certain ends. If I theorize that two or more entities worked together to achieve a goal, you can correctly call my theory a conspiracy theory. It doesn't make my theory wrong, and it shouldn't indicate that I'm some kind of nut job.

  I have seen excellent results with tomatoes, but don't know about anything else.

  Just curious - if I remember correctly, you're in Florida. I'm thinking about moving there. You said the growing season is coming to an end in the next few weeks. Why is that? Will it be too hot? I want to know because I was looking forward to growing stuff if I move there.

  got this week a message from a jw friend about the jw.org headquarters move to warwick.. the message shows how even rational witness (my friend is a rational businessman) share the jw emotional madness that's going arround the jw social media now.

  If Jehovah can so clearly tell them when and where to engage in real estate business, why can't he tell them what a "generation" is? Why couldn't/didn't he stop them from printing all the BS they've printed over the last century that's come back to haunt them?

  My ExElder Best Friend Has Coronavirus

  this has been a horrible month.

  my best friend’s wife just called to tell me that my friend had to be hospitalized due to severe coronavirus complications.

  he has severe pneumonia, is put on a ventilator and is in a coma .
