For me its like Bu2b said. Once I learned about how the world really worked behind the scenes I was shocked that the WTBTS tought nothing about it and actually discouraged any study on the matter. And to me that showed that they had something to hide so I dug more and found Russells affiliation to masons/illuminati. And how the biggest ememies of Satan's kabal of power was Christians. But the JW's were completly oblivious and neutered spiritually. Thats when it became official that God had nothing to do with this organization. I was also reading the bible cover to cover and with my new open eyes saw how contradictory the JW beliefs are from true biblical Christianity

Idk why so many people on this forum are so quick to discount Russells masonic affiliation and "Conspiracy Theories"?

I find it hard to believe that u need much more proof than his grave and graveyard he was buried in. Not to mention his obsession with pyramidology. Or his refrences in his talks about holding the same beliefs as his fremasonic brothers.

I assumed that this sight was for openminded people willing to explore other possibilities rather than clinging to their preconcieved notions. We got misled once by the society and were convinced we were right. How do we know that cant happen again?

I left because the WTBTS does not line up with the bible and its a cult. But finding the truth about the world is what made me question the org in the first place. And "no offense" but there are a lot of ex-jws that left after finding out about this stuff and the WTBTS's involvment with it.

So u have ur reasons and I have mine and I dont think either of us Is In a place to judge who has the "better reason" for leaving. The important thing is we are out.

Hello everyone!!!

Im new here on the forum. I been "dissasociated" for about a year n a half. I left after reading the bible cover to cover and discovering the truth about 9/11, illuminati, masons, witchcraft, new world order, paranormal activity, ufos, etc. And especially watchtower involvment.

I dont know if anyone else had a similar experience. If you have, I am really curious where you are now in ur journey.

Tho I have a Christian perspective on these topics, I am also interested in the athiestic perspective.

im always leary about cults and joining groups.

but the masons seem ok too me.. i want to join because of new freinds and just network with people.

I suggest reading Albert Pikes "morals and dogma" hes like the grandfather of masonry. And he explicitly states that the god thwy worship is Lucifer thw light bearer. And once ur initiated then ur oaths to the lodge get incresingly more... "occultic" I guess u can say. And C.T Russell was a mason and buried in a masonic grave yard. So that tells you a little about what kind of characters they churn out.

Plus as was stated in another response. They are a "secret society" so if u had any problems with JW's ur in for a whole new level of deception.

The lower levels are seem "harmless" but the power structure is not. So reasearch both sides before u pledge ur allegence to a secret society

let me just start this by saying i don't really buy into conspiracy theories, but sometimes they seem to make sense, i suppose that's the point of them.

Cofty.... I definatly would like to explore the athiestic reasoning.

I think u should honestly and openmindedly expolre all sides of the argument.

Personally I really love science and am facinated by it and how it explains and quantifies a wold that was intelegently designed by a creator. And as far as the supernatural patt of the equasion, I find it hard to discount the testimony of millions of peoples experience with the spiritual relm as mental dillusions. Especially when there is physical evidence to acompany it

Respectful_observer...

Satan casts a bunch of different nets of deception for different groups. It doesnt need to be a certain % of the population to qualify as a "conspitlracy". If one person Is mislead then Its a succesfull deception and 7 million is a pretty decent amount caught in the JW net.

I would say there is a few reasons I believe in a "being" Satan

1. The biblical/ historical records. Along with different cultures mythology/theology/ verbal and written records

2. Personal experience of demonic attack (physically). And the power to stop it in Jesus name

3. Researching into the occult/ secret societies/ UFO deception/ and governments. They strongly believe and worship Satan and push foward his plans for a wold gov/ religion/ and eventually a war against God

4. Personal belief based on an overwhelming cashe of evidence (in my opinion)

chrisuk .... I know that this is not a poplular side of the argument on this forum, but your original post is RIGHT ON!!! The questions you are asking are the right ones and YES satan is behind all of it. You can take out the words "conspiracy theories" and "illuminati" cuz we have been trained by media to disregard and count the people that use these terms as "crazy". But if u are a christian and believe the bible is accurate then the fact that this world is "in the power of the wicked one" and he runs all government and powers. He would obviously have had a lot of time to plan how he will organize the world to wage war on God at Armagedon. the "ILLUMINATI" is how this is being done. Its not one groupbut a large collection of all the different powers that have submitted themselves knowingly or unwittingly to fufill Satans plans. And ur question about if the witnesses are involved YES all you have to do is look at C.T. Russells grave and then look at the back of the dollar bill. Satan always leaves his mark on everything he owns.

Please look more into the topic you started this thread with because u are going in the right direction. And u are getting into the MEAT of spiritually things and leaving the MILK behind. Its a rough road trust me. Its a subject matter that people are to afraid to explore and there are a lot of pitfalls so dont trust everything u read about "conspiracy theories" but the holy spirit will help u and guide u if you are honestly seeking the truth.

This topic is actually what got me out of the witnesses and closer to God than I have ever been. So feel free to ask any questions or message me cuz its a rabbit hole thats hard to navigate.

It makes me REALLY HAPPY to see that God has opened ur eyes to this. Dont let peoples opinions deture you from looking further into the truth.
