There are obviously things that are written by humans (yet attributed to Jesus) which obviously dishonours God. For example, John 9:1-3 present God as a simpleton, as one who is like a sadist, responsible to cause people to be born with physical disabilities to show "his glory!" Can there be anything more foolish than this?

In the city I work, there are over 300 study centers of this group, almost one at every 2 km distance on the average. They are really a help to the community, and loved by the community. It seems you have got completely wrong information about them.
Anyhow, I do not want this to start a discussion on them. They do not need anybody's support!

The very fact that I am speaking negatively of JWs shows that I do not belong to Brahmakumaris. Those who really know Brahamakumaris know that they do not see/talk about others’ negatives, but accept the good of all religions. eg. They took the best of Jesus Christ—His concept of God as Father of all humans, and celibacy.

Each Christian sect does not trust the translations of others, hence wants one of their own. Each sect wants to revise the translation they themselves have made.
What does this tell about the real author of the Bible?
1) Either He simply does not know to convey some message of vital importance clearly!
2) Or Bible does not belong to Him;
3) Or He originally wrote something, but was tampered with later.
The latter seems to be what has actually happened. That is why we find pieces of superb wisdom scattered all over the Bible, being intertwined with human elements!
Examples of human elements (just from one book Genesis):
1) God is shown as speaking to fishes and birds (Genesis 1:20-22)
2) God is shown as fearing man making progress (Genesis 3:22-24; 11-5-7)
3) God is shown as a thermometer, which responds to normal temperature, but not to what is beyond what is normal. He tried to counsel Cain against his pre-meditated murder of Abel (Genesis 4:6, 7). This is unlikely, because if He had spoken to Cain, he would have DEFINITELY done the same whenever man was planning for far more vicious attacks like bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki!
4) God is shown as supporting foul-play, as if God has no other option to bless a person! (Genesis 27)
Pope asked Michelangelo about the secret of his genius: how had he created the statue of David, his masterpiece of masterpieces. Michelangelo said: “It’s simple: I just removed whatever was not David!” Michelangelo chiseled away all that is not David.
What Michelangelo did gives us a clue as to what one should really be doing with the Bible if one really is to benefit from this book.
Each one of us is created in God’s image, hence is capable of deciding what God has actually said/done, and what he may not have said/done!

i am a different soul when we are dealing with watchtower demonology, everything about the organization is fan boy based.
watchtower creates the illusion of a community that never existed, we were too blind to realize most of the people we invested time with was nothing more than a farce, once you can't offer up more sacrfices on the watchtower's alter, your going to get less attention and eventually if your kingdom hall is big enough, they won't come looking for you.. .

I have worked in Bengal (State of India) where Mother Theresa melted like a candle for the sake of the repulsive refuse of the community. Why I used the name of Mother Theresa is that she is a good symbol for what Jesus said “Many from West and East” who would inherit the heaven—having been born in the West, and served in the East! It is not for no reason that this TOO PRECIOUS PEARL of all times was awarded The Nobel Peace Prize 1979 (which obviously COFTY is unaware of).

“I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Mathew 8:11, 12)
1) Jesus declares: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will inherit kingdom of HEAVEN.
JWs declare: They will not, because they belong to pre-Christian period. (Contrast Hebrews 11:16)2) Jesus declares: MANY will come from THE EAST and THE WEST and will inherit kingdom of HEAVEN
JWs declare: They will not, because the people of the East are pagan, and if at all they were converted by Christendom, they were only made into the part of the Babylon the Great, hence double worthy of Gehenna. And people of the West are mostly materialistic and part of Christendom, and they too are part of Babylon the Great. The expression “MANY” is wrong, because a few “Anointed Ones” who support the GB will only inherit heaven!3) Jesus declares: “subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside” on the basis of principle he stated later in Mathew 21:43

Will saints like Mother Theresa inherit heaven? Jesus will say: “Of course, and ABSOLUTELY. And if she will not inherit heaven, then who else will?” Because Jesus had already declared: “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.” (Mathew 21:31; Compare Luke 19:1-10)If you ask the same question (regarding Mother Theresa) to JWs, you will hear a most cruel answer from them. I have heard it even from their Elite class: Gilead Missionaries!
