  i still find it strange that believers cannot get it in to their heads that atheism is not a belief, but theism is.

  there cannot possibly be proof "for" the atheistic position as it is simply a position that says i see no proof for a god.. if someone says there are pink unicorns with purple spots and i say i have never seen any proof of their existence, i cannot offer proof of my "position", the onus is 100% upon the spotted unicorn guy to prove their existence to me.

  simple.. where the frustration enters in for us non-unicornists is when the unicornists expect us to listen to inane arguments , non facts and plain nonsesnse and then go along with their delusion.

  I have, this goes back to abiogenesis, and the formation of enantiomers. In nature the L-enantiomer is mainly present. In the lab a racemic mixture is formed.

  Cofty, Please explain why this is?

  Homochiralty in nature occurs, this is a fact. Humans in the lab when investingating how replicating molocules evolved, can only form racemic mixtures, unless they tamper deliberatley with the process.

  I read a university paper. Glass beads induced the formation of homochiral molecules. The inducing of the L/D - enantiomer could be chosen by the scientist. Who represents the scientist conducting the experiment?

  I am not filing in gaps, I am searching for evidence and found a gap in scientific understanding. I always believed in God, this confirms my bias, yes I am bias, as we all are cofty.

  That's an honest evaluation, if we know this we can be more patient with family and friends learning TTATT and newbies on the forum. Good point Julia. But then we have to care for our own health too when we feel like we are going round in circles getting dizzy. Lol!

  I will read all of Max Jammer's book. I will try and read it without any bias. But I am bias as we all are. So it is likely Mr Jammer will confirm my bias. You read it too Adam and we can compare notes. What do you think?

  Is it just me or has this site become a Believer/Atheist warzone?

  i enjoy the odd thread about evoloution vs creation, etc but lately it seems that a large percentage of threads here devolve into fighting between atheists and theists and distract from what most of us here see eye to eye on, the wt and related things.

  i wish things could be more civil here and fr people to realize that people will never see eye to eye on the topic.

  it gets so tiring to see the contstant bickring and fighting on those threads.. they seem to go on page after page but very little of substance is discussed seeing as the existence or non existence of a god can be proven by anyone.

  i greeted a very nice jw lady on my doorstep.

  When Einstein stated that he knew there was a God in Heaven, he was talking from the perpective of the beauty in music. I don't share Einsteins perspective music doesn't make me feel the same as chemistry.

  Einsteins statement wasn't about intelligent design at all, I have faith in an intelligent Creator, this is not a dellusional statement.

  Which forum? I have been to xjwforchrist and jwstruggle I believe in God, but am not tempted to comment on their boards, I have friends from both forums...I just don't fit in with all the posters on those sites.

  No it doesn't I am just quoting fro Max Jammer because that is what I am reading now. I have read three chapters of Dawkins too. I am expanding in knowledge.

  I am not forcing any concepts Adam, I am stating an opinion. My opinion is valid about Einstein, as it is based on factual testimonies and accounts. There is plenty of evidence to find that confirms Einstien was never an atheist. Cofty was humble enough to look at all the evidence I presented along with others and state words to the effect of

  "Ok he was a Deist, but Kate you need to define the God you believe in"

  Adam, my conclusions are sound and evidence based, I am afraid I disagree with your point, that I am dellusional.
