  Rumor that SP OVER 50 are being put back in the system.

  just read this over on jwr that a few members have heard that sp that were being told that they were being cut at the first of the year are now being put back in the system.

  the speculation is that they would have a harder time finding employment than those under 50.. anyone else able to confirm this?.

  its probably a good thing as the wtbts will lose that money, these older ones will still be able to make it and the wtbts have shown their hand as far as this is what they would have liked to have happen.

  I don't think WT are going to be making any u-turns. Once they make a decision they normally stick to it. Humility and charity are not qualities WT display

  older co. his last talk was absolutely shocking.

  Punk, I wouldn't be surprised if it was an outline. The simified teach us book seems to be aimed at pre teens.....so a c.o. outline after this book release is quite predictable. Despicable but predictable.

  If we have pre teens that attended meetings they need to be protected from this propaganda.

  yep, he told her that he wants to go a friends b-day...keep in mind it's not until december.

  well anyway i told her i didn't mind if he did and i would take him.

  You say there are only two options. Split or your wife wakes up.

  Well for months now you have been awake while your wife is still indoctrinated. You have been doing fine keeping your family together.

  This is the priority. You can leave and your wife can stay. You can be a nice family if you can achieve this by always showing her you love her and your family.

  I wouldn't say who qualifies really.....I would say who would benefit.

  I feel JWs with a strong sense of justice and a good moral compass would benefit from knowing TTATT, as these are the ones that see the injustice in WT and it bothers them.

  JWs who don't really care about anyone apart from their imediate faimily and their own progress in WT would not benefit. Some of these actually do know TTATT and live a fake life.

  after they left i walked by our entry way and gagged from the smell!

  I wear perfume everyday, scented shampoo and bodywash. To me it's not excessive and my bf tells me I smell nice.

  You say they are rude. It's not rude to put on scent. They are just likely to be innocent JWs, that hate the ministry getting grief at the door. They are trapped in a cult and need our kindness.

  If I thought someone needed advice about the way they smell I would have a kind word....not tell them they are rude.

  now if you were to ask any jw, they'd recite a complete fallacy from scientist regarding this.

  Your situation seems very difficult you seem like you have only two options

  1. Live a lie to preserve family bonds

  2. Move away and hope some family bonds remain

  Its very sad that WT puts JWs in this position. It must be really stressful for you. I wish you all the best and I hope you get a happy life that you deserve.

  Welcome Heartsafire,

  It's understandable that you want to wake up your husband. Many on here woke up their spouses. But also many did not and left and are still happily married.

  Your aim should be your health and your own exit. If your husband has any doubts at all he will follow. If he is happy as a JW he won't. Just show him he is a priority. Show him how much you care for him and love him.

  i need some advice

  yesterday i finally confronted my mom with my research about the wtbts being registered with the un as a ngo for ten years.she didn't get angry at all but she says she doesn't want to doubt the organization, i asked her if she realizes that if this is true what it means and she replied by saying she believes she has found the truth and that satan wants me to turn away from the organization.she also said that apostates make these very clever looking articles to lure us away.i told her that i avoided all apostate websites(which i did) and went straight to the un which confirmed it.i asked her to do her own research on the matter but she refuses to saying she is not going to live her life having doubts about the borg.

  i don't think i can wake her up ,especially if she doesn't even want to think that the organization is not "god's earthly organization".. i was thinking that now that she knows about my doubts i can disassociate myself but as i only turned 18 this week and have nowhere to go if she kicks me out the house(my entire family are j-dubs) i don't know what to do to move forward from this point .do any of you have any advice for me ?

  Are you working or at university?

  Can you afford to move out and be self sufficient?

  If not then stay home until you are in stable employment. Keep you're doubts to the site here.

  Moving out is a big step you need to prepare for it.
