  but it was officially announced today that the school for couples and the school for single brothers were being combined with the new twist that single sisters would be allowed also.

  Emergency relief fund for the Philippines. How will it work.

  i was just thinking it will be interesting to see how the wts emergency relief fund will operate in the philippines.

  ok it worked well with the storm in florida, with cashing in on the insurance cheques.

  sorry to generalize, but americans have the disposable income, and the insurance polices for things like this - a thing the wtbts finds very attractive.

  I don't think the 8 GB members really care that individuals have lost homes. It would be nice to see, how many JWs are still homeless in Haiti. That would give us a guide to what the future outcome will be in the Philippines

  we had another couple over this weekend.

  after taking a reasonable hike in the woods, we came back to the house, made a fire and began to talk a bit.

  these folks are long time friends of ours and are (like us) slowly easing out of the kingdom hall.

  who was in any doubt that our jw believe is a marketing model, see this pictures of the still existing hq of jw at columbia heights.. earlier comments on jwn that something is going to change in the organisation, these comments are true.. in a few years we will not talk about the watchtower society, we wil talk about jw.org.

  i think the current leadership will make a transfer to a new start.

  there are rumors out, that the italy (rome) bethel is being shut down and putting out to pasture a large portion of the bethel staff.. has anyone heard anything... ?.

  the word is that everyone but the most senior members will be let go.

  the senior bethel family members will be reassigned.

  yes, i know that the watchtower ran out of ideas a long time ago but things have really gotten bad.. take a good look a the january wt and awake.

  the watchtower is a rehash of the new tract (about death) and the awake is about their jw.org website.. good grief!

  when do they finally declare these rags doa and give them a decent burial?.

  I have a Grandson!

  my first grandson, and he is beautiful.

  i remember so clearly thinking i would never graduate from high school in this "system of things".. .

  this boy will play soccer/football/basketball/band/baseball/camp, whatever the h, e, double l, he is passionate about.. .

  i have always been convinced einstien believed in god.

  i assumed what i had learned was correct and never thought i was taught something wrong.. i have seen some points posters have made.
