i had a phone call with one of the elders who advised i attend the assembly at the weekend.
i have plans (and a life) but i said i'd go there on the weekend as i can't take short notice time from my studie and work.
does anyone have a link to the assembly or transcript that i could look through?.
Many JWs who listen at assemblies tend to make drastic changes in their lives to pioneer or do more. If you talk about making changes they may think you've listened.
I hope you get the reconection with family that you're hoping for, playing these games is sickening, I don't like to watch others do it. I tried to play myself, but I am too much of a loud mouth to play their game. I would rather play my own game my way.

This is a way to interact with humans, as parents, friends and spouses we interact with pwople around us and punishment and rewards is just a part of that inteaction. As I don't think God cares enough to interact, why would any other being interact also.
But many have had experiences so it interests me, do Satan and the demons really exists?

For a beliver in the bible you would conclude the must be Satan and the demons, having said this I have read the bible and I am not convinced the accounts are all true and factual. But a good point none the less.

So cofty you believe that many people are just scared and confused and then are so convinced they have other experiences that confirm their bias. What about when you were a born again, did you talk in tounges? What is that all about? Did you lie or just ramble?

Thanks for all of your posts guys it was interesting to read theough some of your experiences.
What also puzzles me is that if someone is going to tell your fortune and they are so sure of it then just tell me, I don't understand the point of telling me details about my past. If telling my future is so easy then do it and I will confirm it if it comes true, and I will know the spirit medium or fortune teller is telling the truth. Telling me personal details about my life teaches me nothing and helps me with nothing. I already know those details.
