as a young brother, i'm seen as an example as i'm doing all a good witness should do.. i had doubts years ago but i decided just to ignore them and move to another congregation to preach more.
that worked for some years but i'm now at the exact same point.
I understand your concern about your family and loved ones that have helped you.
But the WT doesn't have a policy to help those who doubt or lose their faith. If a JW stops believing they are cut off and shunned. This is terrible and we must make a choice to either stay JWs for family or leave and be shunned.
A terrible choice I know but many on here have made a choice and survived and live with that choice with the help of each other on the board.

I too am dating a nice guy. He is Catholic too. We talk about religion and politics a lot. We respect each others views.

my middle brother called me a couple of hours ago.
our youngest brother, josh, who was 38, was found by his friends in his apartment.
he hung himself.
Suicide is dreadful no matter what. But as zoos points out if you had no relationship with him you may feel you have suffered no loss.
But if you did you may start to feel it in time.

i wonder how many of us here hold on to this meeting place out of "loneliness.
could it be that we harbor feelings of "abandonment" and "loneliness" from being left cold and dry by the wt people and our families?
perhaps we do have a need to reach out to people with similar experiences.
Yes I get bouts if loneliness. After reading all the posts it really depends on your circumstances.
But I also come to help JWs who are doubting and confused as I once was. It was a terrible time for me and I genuinely want to help.
I have a great boyfriend now so loneliness isn't so much of an issue.

Your English is great. You have plenty of response so I will keep mine brief.
You have come to the right place to explore your doubts. I first doubted holy spirit when I had a bad experience. Then the whole WT fell around me as I did research.
Jwfacts.com and jwsurvey.org helped me a lot and this site too.

my mom was unwell for awhile bruises on her body....doc tells us she has a form of lukiemia.
of course "no blood" she is anointed and stubborn as hell.
her platelets (blood fraction 2% of blood volume) are 4 should be 150!!!
So sorry to hear what you're going through. It seems dreadful. My thoughts are with you through this terrible time

It's ok to move out when you're financially able to or you have other support. If your mum and dad are upset it's because their kids have all grown up.
You are not responsible to make your parents happy.
My daughter left home at 19 she's 22 now. We talk nearly everyday and I visit three times year.
She is happy and I am happy for her. She just grew up.

i joined this site about 4 years ago and life was very different to say the least.
i was a jw and started the process of 'waking up' after experiencing life threatening blood loss due to complications of a pregnancy.
i was married with two kids (husband was an ms) and was a stay-at-home mom.
Thanks for bringing annulment up angel.face it a good topic.
I think if you stop going there are always going to be some JWs that will shun no matter what.
I have also experienced being Df'd that some loved ones will greet me in public and chat on the phone with me.
It just depends on your loved ones and how indoctrinated they are as to whether or not an annulment will actually work over the necessary business clause if your df'd.
Happily my daughter didn't agree with my Dfing and wanted to speak to me.....then eventually she left and we both woke up.
Why do you want an annulment? Is there someone in particular you want contact with?
