  I came here three years ago for support and to make friends

  this site is such a great and valuable resource and simon is to be commended for running it for so long.

  when i first came i was in such a bad state and really needed support and friendship.

  so many posters commented on my threads and showed genuine care some are real life friends, some are facebook friends, some i talk to on the phone and some are forum friends.. i have just realised though that everyone online is not your friend.

  Yes indeed I am so lucky and without Simon providing this place it would not have happened. Perhaps one day I could meet you. You have been so supportive whilst struggling with your own battles. I could come to your meeting and be an accomplished pioneer from a different city. No one would know I was out. Then we could go for coffee or lunch. Would be nice. PM me if you're up for it.

  Wow someone making you a target. You very rarely do anything controversial. You mainly research the evidence and state the facts. Out of all the people who are here I would not expect you would have been targeted. Thank you so much for telling me that I have helped you.   Thank you so much for your story. It really helps. How did it feel that your mum confided in you like that? I don't do that to my son. I am here for him for his best interests and his needs. I parent and look after him.

  i tried to change my bio in my profile but for some reason i couldn't apply the update.. i was born and raise in the jw organization.

  You might find me very strange and odd because I have a disability. Yes I am like this in real life and many people discriminate against me due to my disability. I am used to it.

  It seems to me that you love and crave attention and if people don't go along with it and lavish you with praise and happiness you get rather upset and resentful toward them. - Simon

  I think you may have identified something about my personality, that I don't know myself. I think you're probably right that I crave attention, and rejection does upset me. So I am probably very emotionally immature for my age. I can see how this will impact in my future if I don't make changes.
