  Thanks for posting. Lots of Beth-hell folks speaking at both those conventions. Wasn't at Landover in '85, I think I was in Palm Beach for that one. I did happen to attend much of the '78 D.C. event.

  Remember when the WT lessons used to have all those Greek or Hebrew words? It was always a hoot to see how badly they were pronounced by the WT reader at the meeting. Sent a note to the teaching and writing committees when I was working on some special projects at Crooklyn asking that they at least include the phonetic pronunciations in the lesson. Never got a peep of a reply.

  keep in mind that this is one of the relatives that is a true believer and used every excuse you can think of for the cancellation of all kingdom hall meetings.

  I guess it would be OK if they are planning to be disfellowshiped themselves.

  BTW ever notice that they have spelled it both disfellowshiped and disfellowshipped in the publications.

  Could end of November be special?

  did you know that noah entered the ark in the end part of november and also that jesus' followers flead jerusalem around 25th of november 66ce?.

  could it be that a significant group of jehovah's witnesses would begin to flee to the "wilderness" in the end of november?

  revelation 12 speaks about a flight of a symbolic woman to a wilderness.

  The only thing November brings to me annually is bills. My house insurance, car insurance, and house taxes all come due in November. So I'm bill poor each November.

  does the watchtower/jw organization regard its readers & jws as fools and are they secretly laughing at them?

  for some examples consider the following.. the wt literature has many times used odd language where they say one thing but word it in such a way as to suggest something else.

  they have said that a number of jws drew incorrect expectations about a number of things, including about 1914 and 1975, though it was the wt itself which proclaimed and taught those expectations in the wt's literature to jws.

  It wouldn't surprise me one bit that they are on the take. Takers always take and never give. Givers always give and never take.

  Remember when they made a big thing of the Quick Build program entering into a special arrangement touted as a national buying program. Allegedly to save the brothers money. In reality it was so they could get kickbacks from all the purchases.

  Always looking for an angle they tout as a benefit. BAH!
