dr pawlowski from wroclaw university, poland, has found that the perfect height ratio to find your ideal partner.

aparently the man should be 1.09x taller than the woman.

this would give my ideal partner height at 5ft, which more than half of my girlfriends have been!!!.

if only 25% of women achieve, it's not the 'norm'. Obviously the researchers are defining 'normalcy' by the way MEN easily reach ejaculation (i.e. intercourse).

my definition of normal sex: two consenting adults achieving mutual pleasure via their mutually-agreed-upon method.

Most of all, I think women (in general) need to learn to love themselves and their bodies so we can relax and let go. That was the key for yours truly. Hopefully you two can talk and possibly experiment a bit. Also, there's no reason why he can't take care of yours AFTER his.

Yes, I knew it was quite famous, she works at one of the resorts. I saw her when she came 'home' to NS when her mom was quite ill a couple of years ago. I'll see if I can get her e-mail addy and will get in touch with her. If she's interested in having an e-mail buddy close to home, I will PM you her addy. I know how you feel - it would be nice to have someone in my area to chat with sometimes.

Ever Met A Guy/Girl At A JW Convention?

have you ever met a single guy/girl at a jw convention, and thought so highly of him/her until you really found out what they were like?

met a few ...

once I got to 'marriagable' age (you know, 17) it got really weird.

This happened twice. I met someone at district convention, had one group date and then my parents came to me and said "so-and-so wants to marry you". They must have been shopping me out.

The first guy who proposed actually did marry someone else - 8 weeks after the next convention! Guess he was really horny!

Then I turned 18 and that was my last convention ever. (yippee!!!)

as some of you know i have been have a few health problems lately.. i went to the doctor today to pick up my application for a handicapped parking permit.

when we talked he said he would sign it for a year.. well he signed it as "permanent disability".

in one way this is good because if they don't figure out the problem and find a solution i won't have to keep applying for it.

its called n.e.w.s (north east ...etc) 4 instrumental tracks, each 14 minutes long.

kinda similar to his old madhouse stuff, but with a slightly less jazz feel.

United States and Canada.

most europeans have more than a little difficulty in telling a us accent apart from that of a canadian one.

it's a bit like ozzies and kiwi's, until you've met a few, the differences aren't that apparent to the untrained ear.

some folk even think that the us and canada are simply interchangeable terms for what is basically the same place.

First things first, I was proud that we (Canada) stuck with the UN and did not support the US invasion of Iraq. That's why we are a member of the UN and not an annex of the USofA.

I think that NAFTA did a lot to cause negative cross-border feelings. Many Canadians (at least here in the east) felt that Mulroney (our PM at the time) with his buddy-buddy relationship and sucking up to Reagan caused us to be shafted. We also had grave concerns about NAFTA and Mexico, and look how things have turned out there.

My biggest concern is for our water - what happens when big brother to the south starts running out?

Note: I'm not too good at history, but weren't we already invaded once? (War of 1812 if memory serves me correctly.)

OTOH - have had many travels in US, people there have always been super friendly and hospitable, ready to go out of their way to help travellers. I don't confuse "big business and big government" with the common folk.

As for accents, our regional accent here sounds just like Southern California. When I was visiting there for a couple months, I had many people ask me if I was FROM there since I 'had no accent'. Interesting, non? And I don't know ANYONE who says 'eh' at the end of their sentences. Not a Nova Scotian thing.

Just my 2 cents.
