Disgusted and ashamed to be British
by Simon indavid blaine has been in his box for two weeks now.
during that time it's become a daily event for people to go and throw eggs and other food at the box, people have also fired golf-balls at him and other objects and someone has even tried to cut the cables holding the box from the crane.
people have also tried to shine lasers into his eyes and othe 'clever' tricks.. it's disgusting but typical of the yobbish, mindless behavior that is becoming too common in the uk.. i'm ashamed to be british.

I got a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
by Elsewhere ini just recieved an email from a company that i interviewed with last week and was told that i was selected as the candidate they want to hire!
they will be sending me a formal job offer monday.
i have been doing contract/consulting work for about four years and i am soooooo tired of it.

Yes, happier now - at least I have moments, days of happiness. When a JW, I was depressed all the time.
As for discouragement now - it comes from all the work I have to do to overcome the damage, and living with the leftovers of the abuse received.
Now I have hope (somedays), and sometimes, even JOY!

Chocolate - of any kind, but especially BELGIAN. (fav bars are Mars bar, Coffee Crisp, and Mr. Big)
And black licorice, mmmmmm.
As for dislikes - anything sour.
