Leave, and start again. If you happen to find a new life partner, well BLESSED BE, if you get DF for that, then carry on and live in PEACE.
Yikes, yes - so leave, and let it go!

it's ok to share your xmas wishes here -- none of us is going to buy you anything, anyway!.
i have a list of books on my wishlist at amazon, some about critical thinking, some about knitting, some about yurok indian basketry.
i wouldn't mind getting any of those.
Cool, thanks V, for the explanation. So, yeah, it's similar to an 'heirloom tomato', in that it's an original breed, and hell yeah, organic always tastes better, never mind the *is it better for you* argument. :D
Hope T-day was a good celebration for all!

Viviane, what is the difference? I would guess that "Heirloom" means wild stock, and bloodlines, similar to heirloom vegetables. What would 'heritage' be? (T-day is not such a big thing in Canada, so I'm a bit confused by the terms).
Thanks!
:)

(PS, that is my 'second name', Viviane, for my awesomely unique grand-mere **)

My friends and I do home made too, but if I had a list (are you listening, Santa? :P) ..
Books: A complete set of MZB Darkover series.
Mary Stewart's Merlin/Arthur series.
Compleat Byron and EBB.
A full length, hooded, shearling coat, for warmth and forever.
A big hunk of special cheese, and to-die-for chocolate to match.
I'm just s simple gurl.
it is xmas time and perfumes and colognes are on the list.
what do you really love for a scent if you were being given a gift?.
Oh, my "Auntie" (really my cousin) wore "An Evening in Paris" ............... ahhhhhhhhhh!
I still love that scent. Some of the old-fashioned ones are the bestest!

I wore "Obsession" for years, but it bothers a lot of people, so now I just have it at home, and will put it on a cotton ball to scent my house when I feel like I want things to smell Wonderful. :))
Other Calvin Klein products appeal, especially CK1 or CKOne ..... ahhh ......... on a guy OR a gal ....
Um, also "Opium" ........... has been a perfume that has always been for me.
Agreed on the first comment for men, Drakkar Noir ,,,, yum! Hugo Boss is also *ahem* ....... smells good.
I like the smell of a man or woman who starts the day fresh, and works up a good sweat. Healthy, and well, you know ... pheromones and such.

that's a crazy question.. they really mean, "do you regret your decesion to leave".. ---.
it's just an ice breaker to become nosy into one's personal life.. ---.
btw, last time i was asked this, no, everytime i'm asked this i reply with: "i'm never coming back".. they seem to hear that.. .
Children, OI!
I've heard too many stories, and known several friends, who had separation from their children, with dire consequences.
If I had an intractable mate, and children, whose safety was at sake, I could do it. But I think that is the only way for me.
Let's NOT judge others, until we have walked in their shoes - seriously. It's hard to have a health problem and be alone. Fear of having no family is REAL.
Ancient cultures recognized this - banishment was the worst punishment, next to DEATH. Let's not discount the fear of shunning.

bigmac - keep on keepin' on (haha, I am ye olde hippie). xx
Aside from this pic, which of course is legend, and spoke to a generation, I think you would enjoy the work of Robert Crumb.
