hello ya'll.
was just listening to great guitar music from some of my favorites.
who are your all time favorites?
Eddie Van Halen and Joe Walsh have to be my fav. rock guitarists , but I have to say
Chris Smither WOW

i am on here as another member, but even with a username and not revealing my identity, i am still too embarrassed to use it.
had to make up a new one.
that being said.... my boyfriend is watching pornography, and it seriously hurts my feelings.
Call the local women's shelter and ask if they have an 'outreach program'. If they do, you can sit and talk to a professional about this - one who knows the reasons why women stay with abusive men, and can help you figure out your issues.
Much love to you!

1. some say we are all gods, and god is omnipresent..
2. some say: god created his children who later challenged his sovereignty, who in turn asked his eldest son: go down to the world, do not resist the wicked, but be murdered by them, the value of which will be used to atone the sins of the world..
3. universe arose out of a big bang.
So I ask you .... why is it important? We are born, we live, and like all other living things on this planet - we die.

my wife is pleasant and easy to get along with.
she is also helpful to many.
lately, however, there is a jw sister who some are curious about has befreinded my wife.
NN, the experience you refer to, is actually what is commonly called "lesbian bed death" (google is your friend). It's not unusual and is NOT "lesbians toying with straight women". It happens in a lot of relationships, which burn bright and fast (google "U-Haul lesbian" for the urban dictionary definition), and die a quick death in the bedroom, then on to the next ....... in hetero-world, we call this 'serial monogamy'.
i'm not naming names, but i just want to encourage people on here or on reddit or twitter, and tell you that you do not have to tolerate people who act like schoolyard bullies in the way they speak to you online.
i think anonymity is a big part of it.
they feel like there is zero accountability so they can be a bully all they want.. i recommend just ignoring or blocking anyone who is verbally abusive or treats you like schoolyard bullies treated you.. life is way too short to spend any time dealing with those kinds of people..
Theists react to reasonable investigation of their faith as though it some how makes them victims of some attack. It does not.
Yeah, the above "Hurt Feelings Report" is NOT a personal attack on the OP. *rolls eyes*
The language and TONE of atheists is rarely 'reasonable' and what would be considered acceptable in an academic debate. It's more like a dirty politics debate. Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining.

if crisis of conscience is one of the top watchtower doctrine killers, what is the coc of theism?.
i'd like to read a book, or other material that does the best job logically arguing for atheism.. i've not read any darwin, however it is my assumption that his focus is primarily on evolution, is this correct?
if you were to recommend one book or a few pieces of reading material, which do the best job of defending atheism, what would they be?.
I would suggest reading some philosophy. My first year (Philosophy 101) textbook was "20 Questions", and I see it is for sale on Amazon. It's a great book, in that each chapter poses a philosophical question, such as "What is Art?" ... "Is Euthanasia ethical?" ... "Abortion" ... It's a great book - each chapter has essays from Plato to French and in-between! lol, I love to read, love to learn, and this course was my favorite of all my university classes! :D
Examining core issues of human behaviour (ie, philosophy), is a good way to explore how YOU feel about life. I stopped believing in a supreme being when I was a teenager, but didn't really examine my belief system (or lack of one) until my 30s. Taking a philosophy course really gets you thinking!
ok, if you're a canuck, chances you know that gordon lightfoot is about right up there with ol' jehover!.
but if not, nevermind, but i have to admit, i have been a lifelong fan of: gordon lightfoot.. this evening, i took his 'greatest hits' and gave it a listen, and as expected, i was still enthralled with his lyrical genius, and playing abilities.. anyone a gordon lightfoot fan?.
just curious.. all your folks living along north america's "great lakes" keep in mind, next month is the 28th anniversary of the sinking of the "edmund fitzgerald".. that song, by gordon lightfoot is haunting from beginning to end (over 6 minutes).. i personally love: go-go girl in love, bitter green, canadian railway trilogy, sundown, race among the ruins, wreck of the edmund fitzgerald, and well i like just about every damn thing he ever did.. your contributions?
If you could read my mind, love, what a tale my thoughts would tell!
In the early mornin' rain ........
Sundown, you better take care, if i find you been sneakin' down my back stairs ....
Rainy Day People, Black Day in July, Carefree Highway .......
SO much more than the "edmund Fitzgerald" .. boring song ,imho

What's your favorite SW quote? "I have a bad feeling about this!"
:P
gossiping.
yep, that's right!
so, i'm sitting outside a building, waiting for my martial arts class to begin when two sisters walk down the road leading to the building.
Well, when people have no life of their own, they will tend to gossip about others. It's so sad, hey? They have NO inner llife.

quote from the watchtower, simplified edition, september 2015, "how can we show that we love jehovah?".
higher education often makes them lose their love for god..
Exactly. It's the 21st century; it's the age of information. How can you love something that you know is a fiction? Except in the sentimental way that you love Tinkerbell or Santa, even though, as a grown-up, you know they are not real.
