  Sick power mad men are the underlying cause.

  A burglar rapes a 95 years old lady in her home.

  A young man is dragged into an alley and infected with aids.

  It has nothing to do with underwear.

  As for screaming - My mother was once grabbed on the way home from work (1955) and dragged into an alley. The man put his hands around her throat. She said that it was such a shock that her legs went weak, and she could hardly even croak. It was only as he started groping that she realised her life was in danger and she said "leave me alone or I shall scream and not stop." When she started screaming (Mom had a loud voice) he ran away.

  But what about those girls who don't have the strong character? My Mother never agreed with the scream/don't scream thing in all her years with the witlessness because of her own experience. It is never the victims fault.

  Didn't Jesus say at the last supper he would not drink wine again until he drank it with his disciples in his kingdom?

  The Government was quite happy to draft 18 year olds to get their heads blown of in Vietnam - if you are old enough to kill or be killed you are old enought to drink. Any argument on illegality is futile WTBTS did illegal things re child abuse and is not above asking people to perjure themselves.

  RAVYN - When will you tell us about you being asked to lie in court over a certain Bethel suicide?

  New Lies reveals that the end came invisibly in 1874. Those who say it was 1914 1919 1925 1975 or sometime soon are not looking at it from a theocrappic viewpoint.

  Enjoyed this such a lot. I only have to hear the words "Mark Twain" to start laughing myself to death. Even funnier than the new kids book...

  A Secret about DF'ing that Elders will not tell you.

  one of the big issues affecting ex-jws is being shunned by their close relatives.

  this can be especially painful for parents, children or siblings.

  the jw relative may even make some exceptions to associate in the name of "necessary" business, but then later on their conscience "pricks" them, and they realize that they have pushed the envelope too much and they withdraw their association altogether ... or ... the society comes out with some article or the co comes to town, and manage to ding on some issue that make jws feel guilty about associating with df'd and da'd relatives.

  Recent "Kindumb Miseries" have given the Witlessness New Lies on this.

  As in all things a Witless is free to exercise his right to choose any course of action, but the Witchtower will exercise its right to punish you their way. Now they can announce your actions show you have dissociated yourself, and if you ask what? they can say it is confidential and tell you nothing. And there is no right to appeal.

  "You are free to eat the apple, but I will shoot you in the head if you do..."

  and, in your crank news update for this week, here's a very interesting little article...it seems bogus to me, but the question had to be asked by somebody.. i know that there are a few people on this site who will take this ball and run with it, so to speak, so tell us what you think.. my personal theory is, won't the plutonium on galileo be dispersed by it's re-entry into the atmosphere long before fission can take place!

  Solomon, who reputedly penned these words, was by his own confession a hedonist and had tried every pleasure and diversion (including worshiping his wives' idols).

  The problem with books for him was probably that they stopped him eatin' drinkin' huntin' and having sex with his two hundred wives and four hundred cucumbers..

  jehovah's witnesses must "believe" whatever the watchtower bible & tract society publishes.

  now that you aren't forced to accept beliefs that you might not have wholeheartedly endorsed, there must be many different things that you don't accept.....what comes to mind?

  By the time you have ordered the book and worked out how to use it it will be at least a week.

  How many posters here are willing to do this experiment???

  A couple of personal things, a couple of family and local things, and maybe a worldwide thing...

  Or why is the WT in such big trouble over the Child Molestation thing...

  or Why is the WT keeping its shares in RANDCAM arms manufacturers?

  What answers will we get? As a board let us all see, and post our answers...
