you and i have had very little contact, but i would just like to say to you, that you have been kind to me and so many others.

i am terribly sorry that you are in pain, and i hope that you find the answers and a solution this coming week.. often we over-look those that are meek and kind.

you will be in the thoughts of my family this weekend as we travel.

You are such a kind person, you have put so much effort into this board, and shared yourself with so many people. I am so happy to see that your spirits are high... and no matter what happens I hope they continue to be positive.

I hope you have a good night... and a wonderful day tomorrow. We are still thinking about you, and no matter what, I believe you are one of the most deserving people I have ever come across.

hello, new member here.. i registered a couple of years ago, but my initial experiences here were not of the warm/fuzzy variety, which must have been what i needed at the time; so, i left.

recenty, a friend gently suggested that i might want to give interacting here a second try.. so's i don't have to type it twice, i offer here a hyperlink to my member profile.. although one might reasonably be named "cruithne" - especially if one is irish or scottish - it is not my real name.

well, of course it is my real name, in that i choose to be known by it.

.... but lookie, I wouldn't mention the whole "ex-jw-chronic-depression-cult-asociated-traumatic-stress-suicidal-tendencies-brainwashed-mental-anxiety-disorder-thingie".... and if they find out about it, just look the guy right in the face and start twitching your right eye, and say "oh, not to worry I feel MUCH better now"

about seven weeks ago i posted here for the first time.

in that post i said i'd like to be reinstated but felt it likely wouldn't happen because the shunning was too much for me.

well, my prayers have been answered and i am reinstated.

Yep NG.... they really are for you. I dont hate anybody. I think I am more scared for you than anything. I know you and I didn't see eye to eye... but I aint nobody anyway... nevermind me. I hope you find what you are looking for.

You see, the difference between me and those elders is... I cannot condemn you for what you believe, say, or think. I may get all upset and yell at you, even curse at you... but in the end.... I would never actually cut you off from existence. I couldn't hate you, couldnt shun you, couldnt walk past you in the street and pretend you didnt exist.

One day perhaps you will come to your own conclusions. If you dont find the happiness that you seek in your return to the Watchtower Society... then please come back here. You may have to apologize to some people every now and then... but hell, so do I.

again, I wish you the best.

All of the above....

and the knowledge (at ten years old) that I would have to "one day" tell my parents, that I didn't want to be a witness anymore. I loved my father dearly, People refered to me as "his shadow". I remember sitting through meetings biting my finger-nails off as I envisioned telling him.

but going in service, and giving talks were perhaps the most "immediate" fears I had back then... hated it. I would wet the bed every friday, night because I knew we had to go knocking on doors the next morning. He used to say it was because I had a "guilty concience".... I say "it just flat out scared the piss out of me"

Even I.... hope you find what it is you are looking for Northern Girl. . . I suppose I have been less than patient with you, and that is a fault of my own.

I hope that you re-gain your family and friends, and I hope that from your experience on this board and with these people, you will remember all of us here who have lost someone to the master that you serve. If YOU really believe in it... then I suppose you are "following what is in your heart", and I find no fault with that part.

I have a feeling we will hear from you again, and I hope that when that time comes, you are not damaged more than you were on the days when you began posting here.

i'm leaving this up for interpretation.. this verse is speaking of the coming anti-christ and it gives a bit of some detail about his background....note it states that he will have no desire for women.. so what does that make the anti-christ be???.

What the Lord has revealed to me in this scripture is that the anti-christ will be a homosexual. Now think about this, there's been a rampant homosexual agenda in the media, newspapers, hollywood and so forth as of late this year. What I think is happening is this.... The world is trying to condition the mind of the masses that homosexuality is "ok" and they're doing that by "coming out of the closet" and gaining acceptance among the population. They are wanting to be viewed as "normal" in any way possible. Celebs been coming out of the closet over the years and dulling the minds of the world population on the homosexual issue to the point that no one is shocked by what they have seen anymore. It would just become an everyday thing to see and would become used to it.

Don't Panic Yiz... the "queer nation" has been with us since the beginning of recorded history.... what is happening in the media right now with it, is nothing more than a fad. T.V. and Media, have capitolized on this type of thing for years. One day, white folks (leave it to beaver, Mary Tyler Moore, The Honeymooners) Next Day, black folks (Fresh Prince, The Cosby Show, Martin) Today just happens to be queer folks(Queer as Folk, Queer eye for the Straight Guy, Will & Grace). After the war thingie is over it will be middle eastern folks, I suppose. Everybody gets a turn. I think it is more a matter of people learning that their "differences" are fairly superficial.

It's seems likely they will prepare a man to be led by Satan to deceive the world that he's the Messiah that Israel has been long waiting for. He'll be groomed since from birth and prepared for the very day after the Rapture occurs.

It seems logical to me, given even the fact what Daniel 11:37 has to say about this future anti-christ.

Logic has no place in religion. or should I say... Religion has no place in logic? Too much evidence. As we move into this millenium you will find that logic will eventually dispell some of these myths of "satan" and "anti-christ". Fairly broad descriptions that could be applied to anything really. --jmo---- puttytat
