Maybe it could have something to do with all this crap being spewed at the district assemblies, and at meetings about apostates? Guess, you dont have to be df'd da'd or otherwise.

Kickin' it with Moses
by Low-Key Lysmith inhave any of y'all ever participated in the whole "i can't wait for the new the new order so i can meet and hang out with the bible all-stars" thing.
my old man always wanted to meet the apostles who were fishermen 'cause he likes to fish.
i used to picture myself when i was a little kid holding hands with job and moses skipping through the gumdrop forest and petting an alaskan brown bear completly unafraid of bodily harm whilst the 1800 lb bruin grazes peacefully in the pasture.

What are your priorities in life?
by JH in.
the witnesses say that they put the kingdom first in their lives, and that the rest of the world puts pleasures and money and sex first.. a kind of black and white picture of them and the world.. so, you evil people .

lent-free belly button
Yes, else, its extremely important to make sure your belly button does not celebrate lent. The period of time right before Easter is the most evil of all holidays not celebrated by dubs.
My priorities: My children, and it's so hard to try and think beyond that.

It used to happen to me more, years ago. Seems like I hardly ever see a dub I know anymore.
But yea, I used to hate it. I remember seeing an elder at Walgreens, oh say 13 years ago. The brother did that same quick starting to recogize, then quickly ignore thing. Then my brother mentions that the brother said he saw me.
I remember the day vividly. I was dressed so respecfully, all nice and witness like. Jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirt, nothing tight or revealing, all my curly hair nice and tame, hardly any make up. My brother says 'I told him you werent in the truth anymore" and the elder says "yea I could tell by the way she looked." Scuse me?

The religion, the sheltered existence, the doctrines that can haunt and consume our every waking thoughts. The issues of control. It's often more than I can handle
I know it can feel like they dont understand at all. And they most likely dont, because they can't. It's way too complicated of a thing I think, even for your average person to understand. Sometimes as I try to explain the different feelings, frustrations, etc I am going through, as a result of the upbringing, my hubby just goes blank. I try not to blame him though, some of our "baggage" is hard to comprehend by those who weren't exposed to it.
I hope you things work out for you Prophecor, hang in there ok?

Would you once have let your child die for want of a blood transfusion?
by nicolaou inwhen i first became a father over 17 years ago i was so 'dedicated' to the truth' that i just know i'd have followed the society's policy on blood to the letter.
fortunately it never came up.
however, having kids was also something of a watershed.

Hey Ip-Sec, well you tried, that's all we can ask from ya!
Saw him on Oprah with his wife a couple of months ago, telling his story in an hour-long show. He has been well for quite a few years with the meds. Darn, I can't remember his name, but quite a story.
Talesin, Isn't it something like, Maurice something?
Unbeliever, you are too funny! And I do totally agree, the man does suck, after the whole Brenda thing, but I am still sooooo addicted to him. Think I got a problem?
And Carly, YES, I had such a problem accepting her at first. Her voice irritates me, her eyes are too bulgy. I keep thinking "why dont they take some eyeliner and color in the bottom lid so they dont bulge out so much"
But, yea, like Talesin said, I kind of got used to her after a while, and yea, I found it hard to accept the Carly before her, then in the end I loved her. Also, this actress came into the show with quite the full plate, she was in the middle of major drama, so guess she proved herself ok. But I still can't wait to see Carly and Reese (Charolotte) bitch slap each other. I know I'm ill.

Are you an Irritating Bastard?
by gumby inhow many of you ex witnesses out there became irritating bastards to family and friends when you left the organisation?
did you push your believing mate right out the door with your verbal assaults?
did you send out a long letter to all of your witness family and friends telling them what a lying cult the watchtower organisation is?

LOL!! I heard about the bi-polar manic depressive illness with the guy who plays Sonny. So sad. Oh, but they have him smiling more these days, with the whole Reese thing (hate her!) and his dang dimples are just, well, shoot, they are sexy!
