  The Blitz,what happen to it?

  remember the days when whole groups went out and did the blitz, six to eight blocks in row , a couple of hours of real time witnessing.

  it was in the seventies.

  we would start one group at one corner and avenue, the other at the opposite end, then meet up in the middle and share the results.

  i have worked beside a great guy for so long.

  this week his wife went into labor with their first child (they lost two others btw) so he left work to be with her (????

  he got smashed to death by a truck on the way to the hospital.

  How insensitive! I remember things like this when I was a dub, they think peoples lives are non-important, if they were not dubs. Things would happen, earthquakes or disasters, and I remember the comment, "and you know some of those who died were BROTHERS?" I would think to myself, SH+T what about all the other people who died, they dont count?

  a few months ago we had a local needs part about supporting the cbs field service on saturday.

  it was given by a nice older elder, but what he said was pretty scary.

  he used all the phrases and logic that are usually used for meeting attendance.

  It was always demanded of us when I was in the borg. If they had slacked off some, they must be tightening up the reings again, as it were. Seems like the society is returning to the strictness of the 80's again.

  i'm havent seen the show that much but i caught a glimpse of it last nite with the chick who got reamed by the foppish judge (in other words, the gayest of the three judges.

  btw, was he in elton john's "i'm still standing" video?).

  YES! I am not sure if I want to admit this, but I LOVE it! I watched last night, and am happy to see how much Kelly Monaco has advanced. She has always been flexible, sexy, even a little slutty looking when she dances. But she had no form to her before. She has come a long long way, and danced great last ight. I have liked J. Peterman (dont know his real name) from Seinfeld, from the very start. He carried himself like a ballroom dancer. He has a commanding presence.

  Watching Evander was embarassing.

  I'm hooked, and cant wait to see who wins next Wednesday. I think J. Peterman will win. But I like Kelly too.

  when i got out of the dumbs, i use to cuss non-stop i think as a pathetic tactic to make worldy people think i was a little more worldy.

  i still swear from time to time, and foul language does not offend me at all, but i was talking to my sister the other day, she just turned 21, has discovered alcohol, is currently on public reproof, and i think is really close to being on her way out herself.

  she cursed like a sailor the whole time i was talking to her.

  Inheritance and Ex JW children

  we all know how disfellowshipped or disassociated children get treated by their jw parents, that they are totally shunned.

  but what happens when it comes to family inheritance do they get treated fairly or do they get a lesser share or in extreme cases perhaps nothing at all?

  and would jw parents that have no children left in the wts choose to give everything to the org?
