Get rich quick scheme mentality
by JustTickledPink ini was thinking about how many jws were into the "get rich quick" schemes.
there were many brothers and sisters who went into the pyramid type schemes involving everything from "magnet therapy" to "mallaluca" to "amway" then there was some perfume knockoff home sales, home gym sales, etc.
the lists go on and on.. i am not criticizing anyone that ends up being succesful in any home based business but merely pointing out how many jws i knew that were involved in them.

Alot of the problem comes from being susceptible or too trusting of their brothers or sisters. The Mormons have the same problem with Utah having the highest level of fraud and scams of all of the states..why..because the Mormons just like the dubs are prone to trust their brothers and sisters and are willing to invest both money and time into things that they usually would never even consider.
I fell into the trap and got involved in Melaleuka for a time..or however you spell it.

we are doing fine, just really busy living life.. well, last saturday i was out at the markets with a friend (thank goodness).
when i got home mr bliss informed me that a servant brought the co around to our place for a 'friendly' visit.

Justice officials within each province will decide which offences are sexual in nature, and come up with a system to let the thousands of convicted sex offenders now in the prison system know about their obligation to register.
Judges will hear challenges and could decide to take people off the list based on different criteria established in each province.
Finally, the federal government decided not to include people who have finished serving their sentences because of fears the law could be challenged on privacy grounds.
Still, Ottawa expects the registry to include several thousand names within a year.
Seems strange to ask them to register themselves, are sexual offenders likely to register without being forced too?
Its also sad that even with an empty list it is expected to have several thousand names in a year.

Is it ok for a JW in good standing to eat fruit loops?

If it is not proper to support Babylon the Great, even being counseled not to attend church weddings or funerals of friends why is it ok for Congregations to sell Kingdom Halls to various religous organizations which will use these former homes of true worship to promote Satans teachings?
