  this is an essay i wrote a while ago:.

  He was actually Gods spirit appointed NUT delivering wheat... I mean meat in due season.

  Apparently Pinatas are ' no big deal'. What's next? Birthdays?

  i always thought the society frowned upon the use of pinatas, if not discouraging the use of them all together.

  apparently the wts has decided to avoid insulting the brothers in mexico.

  the meek shall inherit the earth.

  what exactly do you think this means??

  i was thinking about that line in the bible.

  I think the word earth is sometimes rendered land...Ps 37:11

  I have taken the term to mean the meek or rightous were given gods protection and blessings which also included lands, possesions, prosperity and peace when they followed his commands.

  Its the promise of many blessings if you heed my command, be meek and listen to me and I'll bless you.

  For the meek to inherit the earth and live to times indefinite could also mean not one individual to live forever but for there to be meek people on the earth forever.

  King David and also King Josiah said these words to the people living in their day and they all died..... They did enjoy peace, prosperity and land though for extended periods of time during both reigns.

  I've never been to a JW costume party because I know a few people who organized one and they got pulled before the elders because it was considered worldly...too close of a resemblence to halloween.

  The Luao and Pinanta thing is totally nuts.....I've also got a thread going on the YMCA which I am thinking of using for daycare.....If confronted I'll pull out the Awake and quote the paragraph where it states to consider the situation and present day view in the local community and tell them not to make a big issue out of it like the Awake states.

  Something I've never told you........

  i've really been struggling over the past few months.

  when craig and i got married, i didn't invite my dad to my wedding.

  six weeks later he takes his life.

  Tink I can't imagine your pain or guilt so I won't say I understand but I do care.

  I had a few other issues after my father died from heart failure 10yrs ago....up until I had moved out I had always thought I would kill him..no joke!

  Then after he died I felt guilty becaused I missed the call that he was having a heart attack....(I was on the phone when my mom tried to reach me and the ambulance arrived too late) The guilt I felt over that was compounded by having wanted to kill him guilt.

  I'm glad you have a supporting mate..that sure helps. Sometimes I find especially now that I sit down and remind myself out loud all the good things I have going in my life and also all the good things about myself...it helps counteract all the negative things that bombard us every day.

  Take care Tink and the comments from the forum about a counselor are good.

  My father passed away....

  i know that i don't post often, but i read this board daily.

  anyway, i just wanted to pass on the information that my father passed away last week.

  he was 81 and in semi-poor health.

  It must have been pleasent to hear a talk about your dad and not a Preaching rant...I honestly can say I've been to dozens of dub funerals in my life and none of them talked about the individual very much..only thier beliefs as a dub.

  The real issue here is ..Where was JEHOVER during this...they were touching his eyeball and he was busy somewhere else.

  He had all the angels busy helping out in the preaching work and forgot about Russia.

  And don't ask me to pray for them...I'm still praying for God to protect children from various dangers and he's even to busy for that.

  i don't know if i am happy about it or sad..... .

  i had a wonderful week end---no in-laws, and we went to a pagan pride festival on sunday.

  first day i could get out of the house all summer.
