i was talking to a friend who is a business owner (hotel industry) he isn't a witness he doesn't know i used to be a witness.
i just casually asked him about all the watchtower and awake's in the magazine rack.

I have seen it from the other side of the coin...as a contractor doing jobs for JW's was a huge pain, they always agreed to a price and then expected a cut when the job was complete or had to be pestered to pay the bill which was an uncomfortable position to be put in, them being your christian brother or sister.
I finally made it a policy to only do work for JW's if I had lots of spare time, they bought the materials after which I would do it for free. Essentially I stopped doing anything which required more than donating a couple hours of my time.
As far as business owners go, I never found them to be any better or worse than non dubs...in my experience anyway.

by bebu inthis morning the jw lady (p) and her daughter (m) came over for a second follow-up visit.
however, this is the first time m has been present for any extensive conversation.
i'm glad she showed up, though, because some major things happened, and i think if there is any breakthrough forthcoming it will be terrific to see 2 in one family get out at the same time.. .

The mediator twist was great along with the all the other limbs you danced on...was it exciting and nerve wracking for you...for most of us exposing these ideas to a dub is impossible because the mental block is already in place.

I lost her.
by Fleur inmy beautiful, sweet, loving, kind grandmother passed away today.one of the only three people in my life who ever loved me unconditionally.
at the end they tell me she was not struggling, but for weeks before that, she did.
she suffered, horribly.

No, that's not "right". All the angels were as perfect as Adam and Eve were. Not until they sinned did they lose their perfection.
Do you think 1/3 of the stars of heaven fell away from God to join Satan as the bible states? Would you say those are pretty drastic numbers for perfect angels who are able to witness the power and glory of almighty God and who would know any opposers are doomed to destruction? It also means that many perfect creations have sinned and fall short.
That ain't how it happened, Bugs. We sin because of a lack of proper upbringing/training, and genes have nothing to do with it.
