lloyd evans has a livestream and must answer all questions.
the only catch.
you can only ask one question plus a follow up.. my fave so far is would you want your daughter to marry a man who was unfaithful every few months with prostitutes.. what would you ask him?.
Yes, the purple deluxe version had gilded edging on the pages. And a slightly harder binding.

pat roberston,92, comes out of his million dollar mansion ( which his loyal followers paid for ) to continue his doomsday prediction.
pat needs to make one last appearance to show his followers he was right all along.
after all his failed predictions on his ''700 club,'' pat needs to show his followers that this ''doomsday prediction'' is a bible prophecy.
Apparently, at this very time, there's a group of eight televangelists claiming to be gods spokespersons, with eight million contributing followers also living in a multi million dollar complex in America somewhere.

there was a comment that in australia ( i think) the experiment ended with no apparent outcome.
anyone know how this is working any where?
there was also a mention of a hall being sold.
As of last week the Australian branch issued a note to co's stating that there were no plans to resume in person meetings till April.
This would be reviewed on a monthly basis thereafter. And let me tell you, the rank and file are dreading the return of the in person circus.
The memorial which is sometime in April would still be on zoom.
As I mentioned on another thread, all pilot meetings in West Australia have ceased and are back on zoom. Other states are all on zoom I'm led to believe.

should we refer watchtower as to a online religion now?
i mean we could discuss if they ever return to kingdom hall's in the future.
if most of them haven't been sold.
Well,
In West Australia all the 'in person pilot' meetings have now ceased.
They have all gone back to zoom and word has it, they are loving it.

in a recent post ffghost made a comment about how they're always inserting modern concepts into biblical narratives to make it relatable to jw's organization.
here are some that come to mind:.
- the capitalized term "governing body" when referring to the older men in jerusalem (really just another group of christians that paul outspokenly disagreed with and didn't look to for approval).
found this among my parents' keepsakes.
