hello my friends,.

here are some encouraging scriptures for the day:.

revelation 21:2 i also saw the holy city, new jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from god and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.. hebrews 11:10 for he (abraham) was awaiting the city having real foundations, whose designer and builder is god.. revelation 21:24 and the nations will walk by means of its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.. revelation 22:1 and he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing out from the throne of god and of the lamb 2 down the middle of its main street (of the holy city).

I no longer have a strong religious conviction and am happy where my life is at this time.

I'm of the same mind slimboyfat.

Don't recall if am3 was on the gb during the years mentioned.

However it seems to be a recurring topic;; covering transgressions that bring the org into disrepute at the expense of the victims. Seeing that Salena has gone public to this extent it surely deserves scrutiny by the authorities.

I'm aware of one instance here in Australia where a coverup was performed to 'keep gods org free from accusation'. Nothing done to help the abused.

Seems to be a step into historical abuse that the org has covered over as with many others..

No doubt proof will be required, which may be difficult given elders were instructed to destroy all personal notes.

Wow..

I remember as an eight y.o. in 1960 helping the bro who picked us up early in his Buick, to write a couple of months worth on the rented kindergarten hall blackboard. I would read out the numbers from his note pad that he would duly chalk up.

We couldn't use the entire board as it was needed for the written review and meeting parts.

In Melbourne Australia. And yes, I vividly recall the comparisons !!

Been years since Ive gone - should I bother with a letter?

sig other is half assed still in, one family member is in... its been years... wondering if i should just let it be or just call up hq and say i resign... i will be pissed if they announce shit at the kh, though i dont even remember the last one i went to... lol.

for me, its none of anyone elses business... thoughts?.

Welcome to the Forum a great place to explore various points of view on jw stuff.

In my opinion, do not bother with a letter as your no longer being a witness will be read out.

Seems you are simply fading and no longer active.

Take my tip, let it be, that way friends and family will not be required to shun you.

They will occasionally work on you to 'return to their desert god' but I'm sure you could deal

with that now and then.

Enjoy the freedom from constant guilt tripping.

when the jw hear it couched in a talk and woven in with scriptures, they will take it in without giving a real thought as to what is really being said..
