He posted on his band website that he is upset about all the backlash the interview created on both sides. Seems like a really cool guy. Living life with his own free will. Not a bitter angry mentally diseased apostate.

Who is easier to indoctrinate, men or women?
by kneehighmiah infrom purely anecdotal evidence, i believe women are more indoctrinated on average.
i can openly disagree with the governing body with men and it results in a discussion however, most women i've talked to have immediately shut me down by ending the conversation.
the only person currently shunning me is a woman.

I think men are more likely to be fanatics. More likely to kill in God's name. More likely to abuse power. More likely to start mega churches and lust for prominence. I think that's what happens when religion and testosterone mix. Women seem to practice a more empathetic, compassionate nurturing faith. I believe just as women are more likely to stay with cheaters, they seem more likely to rationalize staying in a religion they know is messed up. I think that's why they seem to shut down if I mention anything bad about the JWs.

In my congregation there is only 1 bro with unbelieving mate. However, there are nearly a dozen sisters with non JW husbands. Most of the men are born-ins. Very few male converts in my congregation.

Simple Signs That Cause Jehovah's Witnesses To Lose Morale (Faith In The Governing Body Corporation Kings)
by frankiespeakin ina good way to get the jws doubting corporation leadership, is lower their morale in the governing body.
pointing out their stupidity, authoritarianism, delusions of grandure, and the depts of their wishful thinking bias done in such a way to overide watchtower inplanted prejudice.. highlighting the phobias they have of apostates, their attitude toward children as nothing more that corporation free labor denying them education and handing them over to pedofiles in the congregation be they elders or microphone handlelers.. signs about doctrinal issues are a waste of time but i can't deny that some may benifit but that's just getting them out of one cult and making them pray for another.
anyway the bible is too full of shit to argue doctrine, much better to stay away from it and proceed to spend more time get oneself free from that residual mind control you're still clinging to that's based in the bible.. what are your ideas?.

I've learned most jws don't give a flying you know what about God or the bible. They enjoy being told what to do and having no control over their own lives. They are psychologically stunted. The gb can screw up 100x but it doesn't matter. They're in their comfort zone like little children. They need the WT to tell them what to do. That's why they go wild if they leave the organization. A mature person can read the bible themselves and make good decisions.

Do you feel like cults especially prey on women?

From purely anecdotal evidence, I believe women are more indoctrinated on average. I can openly disagree with the governing body with men and it results in a discussion However, most women I've talked to have immediately shut me down by ending the conversation. The only person currently shunning me is a woman. I think that's why there are more women in the organization then men. Obviously I'm not trying to be sexist. Just stating my opinion. Look forward to hearing opinions from both men and women!

I recieved my first shunning after disagreeing with today's text. I mentioned that the GB was equating themselves to the perfect and infallible Jesus. My friend then told me that she would appreciate it if I no longer talked to her until if and when I deal with my issues. She referenced the Dec 15th 2013 study edition as the basis for her decision. I'm still an MS so I guess Jehovah forgot to shun me. Definitely a cult, but can't leave until I finish my degree.

What if the GB hired you as the new CEO of Jehovah's Witnesses?
by kneehighmiah ini'm pretending the gb decided to hire a ceo to combat dwindling membership and overall apathy.
here is a list of the changes i would make to the organization if i were hired as ceo.
feel free to list your ideas (serious and humorous)!.

13. Get rid of mid-week meetings. Ain't nobody got time fo' dat! Midweek meetings force people to turn down otherwise good jobs and they prevent people from taking evening classes. The Sunday meeting would include a 20 minute public talk, 20 minutes of "bible highlights" where everyone discusses the weekly bible reading and 20 minutes of the "TMS" for people to practice public speaking. Finally another 20 minutes for elders to give a talk dedicated to local needs or encouragement. The meeting would run 1:30 as the remaining 10 minutes would be used for songs and prayers. No more WT study indoctrination.

Wow. These Italian JWs sound very pissed. I think the organization will have to make serious changes or be toast within a decade. The GB are really digging in their heels and adopting a very hard line stance. It's comforting to see that JWs overseas feel the same way that we do.
