Has anyone heard from Dansk, Cambridge, or others if this "committee" was formed to do a comparison of the 2 KITs? Is anyone interested in working on a comparison of say Acts, Romans, and Hebrews to begin? Also, does the new KIT live on the CD that is actively discussed in the realms of "Copyright"?

Two Elders Stopped By

Drinking and driving? Would/have you ever done it?

For years in Belize I would travel with maniacs who ALWAYS drank. No voyage would begin without a salute, a trip to the package store/bar, and a few down the hatches. A year and a half ago at Easter I was with a madman heading from Dangriga to Placencia with his 3 kids and a few locals when the driver almost rolled the Explorer at high speed. He was unphased after the upheaval and asked me to pass him the bottle - it was ten a.m. Same in Mexico, Jamaica, and the BWI. Yes, it is cultural. I'm amazed to see how many people in Ontario at lunchbreak throwing down shots and beers, whereas in the States it was once acceptable. Now U.S. HR generalists walk the halls and machine shop floors looking for counseling victims. "So how often do you drink Mr. Fleischman?"

Thanks for the assembly coverage! I've been caged of late, and couldn't get to the festivals. Did I get it right - instead of passing around a few jugs of Ripple and Mad Dog, one should prepare amanita tea with honey, chilled in Grolsch bottles (excuse me - fanta bottles) and get a signed release from the "Breathren" before serving?

I cracked up a Blazer in 1996 with .31 alcohol in my blood. They had to sew my arm together, broken ribs, broken shoulder, concussion, etc. I should have learned a long time before that - my brother died on acid and alcohol behind the wheel. I can say I am cured of driving now when I am impaired. But, it took a long time. One day I heard a voice that said,
"Angels used to ride my fender, then they went on a bender." No more protection - I quit juicing and cruising.

I can read Hebrew and Greek a hell of a lot better than Freddie Franz,
the speak to his shoes president, the shuffle mumbo theocratic man.
I would be in on working on a book, or a few books of Scripture, with a group of people to do the comparisons of text, translation, and interpretation - as long as each of us had final say regarding what we found. A collaborative, with multiple spirits. If interested send me a message.

I read Koine Greek and Hebrew, and was thankful for the KIT's existence - as 'Deleted' stated, I was able to read the text during meetings and disappear from Sister Googie's Tract Presentation and Brother Mushmouth's KM speaches. The numerous changes to the Divine Name are unquestionable in the volume!
