on may 5, 2005 the thought occured to me: it's 05/05/05.

now, next year do you think jws -- and/or all fundamentalist groups, etc -- will be anticipating or freak out on june 6, 2006?

it'll be 06/06/06 or, more diabolically extrapolated (as they do so well...), 666!!!

How were the dreams? Are we Daniel today? Ezekiel on his side for a year plus, then on the other side? Did we cut our hair off, and divide it into 3 piles, for the plagues, the deaths; how were the dreams 'Out of Eden'? Pleae give us today's message - are the phallic symbols in the temple, Dagon worshipped in alleys, children screaming in Tyre, Sidon will burn! Brownboy, did you sleep well?

i guess you guys got the equivalent of the 2:am drunk phone call.

was wollowing in my grief last night over the end of a relationship i didn't want to see end.

Hang in there. I got a 2 a.m. call from a friend in New Hampshire just this morning. I woke up to him telling me that his girlfriend - who he gave his heart, soul, strength to, had just left him, "and it hasn't hit me yet." She woke him up to say goodbye, her things were in the vehicle, and she walked out the door. You'll find someone else who can discuss your baggage and you can discuss her baggage as well. Black and white is scary stuff, seeing that there are so many grey levels. Enjoy the good times you had together, and next time you'll have even more joy. At least you're honest with yourself. There's someone out there special, who will aprreciate that honesty.

Man, that one hit was a doozie. My friends and I were in the Commander's Class and even on 4 way nothing was as bizarre as your last statements, I think you might/may/sort of referred to Mormon/Nephi/Olmec/Mayan. I was just imagining a weekend with you hiking and camping on the Continental Divide. PHEW!

Did Anyone Ever Find The Meetings Interesting???

every once in a while i enjoyed a public talk that featured a very good speaker.

most meetings i was thoroughly bored.

especially was i bored with the baby food pablum that was force fed to us.

How can one judge past meetings attended when they were in a brain washed haze and hopped up on contrived prophetic madness? It's like asking - did you have any great days while you were in a detention camp? But ... the best meetings were when Crooklyn would send their henchmen to give a really moving talk, the crowd would come in Easter fineness, and all the hypocrits would rise to the occassion. Those days stand out the most.

Do you think the world will end soon. If so, when?

predictions for the end of the world have been going on since the time of christ, and in every century since then.

during the past 100 years there have been more predictions for the end of the world than have been made in all the previous centuries combined.

many of these prophesied dates have since come and gone.. people look around and see the possibility of many different natural or man-made disasters by which the end could come.

I'll be the first to say YES. The federation of America and Israel will bring prophecy to a head. This Bush guy is the man of the hour, as goonish as he may be. Yes, the Christian right are doing all they can to usher in war (other side of mouth - peace and security) and God (yes, I believe in the Creator) is sitting back, allowing, watching, and laughing at all the scorners as they mock, as well as the WTS as they ridicule prophecy, God, and His son who died for you and I. Let God's will be done.

What a spiritual blanket, I mean banquet! The provisions of the Lord are wonderfully blessed. One thing though... those two songs are my favorites - what the hell are they?
