My friend in Brooklyn sent me photocopies of purchase orders for a dozen blipometers being puchased for testing at Monday's Watchtower "family meetings." The screen is plasma, not blood mind you, and the blips play Kingdom songs when they get excited by apostate mutterings. Just imagine, 8 grand a piece - they're supposedly radiation free - they work via Ethernet.

This post brought back many memories of looking out windows and watching the snows descend quickly - no cancellation, no curfew, the show must go on! One Circuit Dis-Assembly we skidded there on ice and left skidding on more ice in the dark - program shortened - NO, the show must go on! We had a horrible blizzard and an older couple met their Maker in a wreck - the next week we had another blizzard, did the PO cancel the meeting, hell no! The show must go on. We were Bible Stormtroopers - lean, mean, and boy we were green. No longer though!

Funny, guess not, but 25 years ago I had a pioneer partner that said they would eventually "go mainstream as Protestants." He was disfellowshipped for apostacy - only problem - he killed himself, so there is no need for reinstatement. The good news - I have polished up my pig Latin and have the next month's afternoons off and scheduled for streetcar witnessing. Now, if I could only get 100,000 of the "New & Better" tracts from the Literature Servant. Otherwise, I may have to hand out apostate tracts sans an Brooklyn imprimatur.
