Why not bring a few copies of the 1958 'Your will be done' Daniel book and insist on answering from those paragraphs - hell it was breathed on by the G.B. - it must be true(?)

by Doubtfully Yours inthey'll be lucky to see me at all at the farguing book study meeting!!!
damn it, if they don't have anything new to study, why not move some of the other meetings' material to this hour thus making shorter those other meetings???!!!

Thank him. Also, when Freddy was coining his antitypical world and words, did anyone ever disagree on the G.B. after the 1958 'Thy Will Be Done' Book, which was a precursor to the 2 Revelation compediums of prophetic crap?

Amsterdam: What are the best coffeeshops for an American tourist?
by new light inwell, i'll be in england in a few weeks which means, of course, a trip to sample the goodies in amsterdam.
can anyone recommend the best coffeeshops/smartshops for a bumbling tourist?
: i'm not in it for the coffee.

The 'smart shops' have shrooms, but buttons are not sold - cactus are. Many varieties of shrooms from ALL OVER. Go out to Texel Island by train and boat and groove away from the city and the pigs.

Planning a trip in the spring. You know why you don't condone it? You can't! You can't condemn, you can't condone, you can't do anything? Cause it is ... I am.

Many have themes (rock bands, others are local, others are tourist traps - walk around, dig the town, and you'll get the groove. Been there 5 times, and each trip different. They have maps with the spots located for you, as well as writeups. Weekday nights are calm, weekends are more international and wilder. The Bulldog had over 5 establishments the last time, but I avoid them - they're "cookie cutter" but have great brownies. The Official Coffeeshop Guide is available everywhere and will clue you in. An hour there, and you'll feel real familiar.

Cross or torture stake.....
by snakeizz inthis has always puzzled me.....can anyone shed some light as to what it really was?

There is power in the Cross of Christ. The WTS wanted that power, so to be different, as well as to keep people from that power they demeaned the death of Jesus, the manner of His death, and scoffed at its importance. As stated earlier in this thread - Anti Christs is what the lot of them are.

Do you still Pray?
by Dustin insince i stopped being a jw i haven't prayed.
so the other day i went to supper at my parent's house who are still jw's, and they prayed before we ate.
it was a very strange feeling, and it stirred up alot of weird feelings.

I pray all the time. Funny thing... I've forgotten the WTS formulas and cadences of prayer, "....in Jesus' name, who is now at the right hand of God." Jesus arrived there in 33, bad formula. I find strength in prayer alone and also when we meet in a small group. Prayer is our communication line with the Creator, no one/ nothing can control it.

Unofffical Jehovah's Witness Website Censured
by Kenneson inthis poor fellow got in trouble with the watchtower society over copyright laws and got reprimanded.
instead of standing up for his rights, he just "kisses xxx.
" read his acquiescing response.. http://www.desinger.com/scriptures/conclusion.html

I pray a quick death to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society! No doubt Rutherford backed Hitler, the WTS still backs the totalitarian existence of anti Christos. These bastards need to be silenced themselves! Hopefully soon more will see these false prophets behavior and their self serving rule books and will leave, before more families are destroyed and children abused under the cloak of "true religion."
