Yes I think you are correct. No response is probably best. Let her stew, then in a week or two send her some more pics of the kiddos.

Thank you Half Bananna.
I was once consumed with the search for ways to liberate my loved ones from this evil real estate cult. Now I go for months at a time without ever thinking about it. Lately due to a lot of free time the thoughts have drifted back into my mind. It’s a vicious cycle.

Ah yes the crux of the matter indeed isn’t it Ding. She is free to tell my still in family that she tried her best to save poor old spiritually lost Brainfloss no matter what move I make. I’m the only one with anything to lose. Quite a gambit the society has put in place.

It most defiantly pisses me off.
Maybe I’ll send this—
If anyone else in my life had such an absolute refusal to hear my side of an issue and still had the audacity to try at every contact that we had to push their agenda on me I would never allow contact again.

I should point out. I have been married for 14 years to a loving wife have two beautiful children and a beautiful home. Their suggestion that I somehow live a sinful life is appalling.

Intellectually I know you are both right. However...
my heart is sickened by this one sided self righteous attitude That my family has. They feel free to comment on my relationship with Jehovah any time they see fit but will not even listen if I try to point out inconsistencies from the Jehovahs witnesses own publications.

How should I respond
Hey BrainflossI was so glad to hear from you I loved seeing pictures of your family. I’m not good at expressing my self but I do know I love you and want the best for you. It made my heart rejoice to spend time with you when $&)($ was little. And when you came to Florida when the boys were teenagers. I want to be able to do that with you in paradise. Get to know you and your family and all my siblings my mother my children my husband so many others .But Jehovah wants us to draw close to him. He’s our creator and knows what’s best for us. We all have the time now. Jehovah knows our heart. He drew you to him because he saw something desirable in you. Jehovah’s Universal sovereignty and sanctification of his name is the most important thing but our salvation is closely tied to it. And his promises are always fulfilled. I long for the day when Jehovah’s promise of a resurrection is fulfilled and those like Our sister will finally have a voice to sing and praise Jehovah. I have a short video and brochure I want to share with you . You may have already seen them. 🤗 😘

MUCH CLOSER LOOK -yes let’s take one
by Brainfloss inmcl responded in part, in an earlier post about the hypocrisy in religion even the true religion.
making dumb guesses about god's cryptic prophecies makes them foolish and indiscreet- not false prophets who claim god gave them the message.. two questions—.
1) what is the “true religion‘s” definition of a prophet?.

I would say by the information they use to define prophet when weighed against Deuteronomy they definitely fit the role of false prophet. They even refer to themselves as Gods spirit directed organization.

Prophets role not limited to predictions
What Was the Role of the Prophets?
WHEN mention is made of the Hebrew prophets of ancient times, what comes to your mind? Do you think of men who made predictions about the future? Or, do you think primarily of men who urged people to do God’s will?
The ancient Hebrew prophets did, of course, foretell certain events. Yet their prophesying was by no means limited to making predictions. This is evident from the Hebrew term for prophet, na·viʼʹ. In itself that word does not convey the thought of making predictions. Na·viʼʹ means ‘one who pours forth words abundantly’ or ‘one whose speech flows forth.’ The actual use of the term shows that true prophets were spokesmen for God, with effervescent inspired messages. Just what the commission of God’s prophets involved can be better appreciated by comparing their conduct with that of false claimants to the prophetic office.
