Have The Elders Ever Told You They Needed To Speak 2 You After The Meeting?
by minimus ini wonder how many times an elder approached you before the meeting to say, "after the meeting, we would like to talk to you about something".
you know that feeling-----remember???
the entire meeting you tried not to think about whatever it was they needed to talk to you about.

Hey poms! Did you mislead us?
by ozziepost inshowing on tonite's national news downunder is this piece: .
17:00 aest tue 19 aug 2003. e-mails fuel claims of 'sexed-up' dossier.
revelations that british prime minister tony blair's office apparently authorised a "substantial rewrite" of a controversial dossier on iraq will fuel claims that london exaggerated intelligence data to bolster the case for war on saddam hussein, newspapers said.

I never said you couldn't be a vegetarian
oh i know! i wasnt being sarcastic, i really do think it's a good rule! i just meant that a lot of people would have to get used to doing their own slaughtering which would be off-putting for some. seriously, i wish more people did this. it's just responsible. :)

I am going to try hanging out with you people
by CruithneLaLuna inhello, new member here.. i registered a couple of years ago, but my initial experiences here were not of the warm/fuzzy variety, which must have been what i needed at the time; so, i left.
recenty, a friend gently suggested that i might want to give interacting here a second try.. so's i don't have to type it twice, i offer here a hyperlink to my member profile.. although one might reasonably be named "cruithne" - especially if one is irish or scottish - it is not my real name.
well, of course it is my real name, in that i choose to be known by it.

How many of you had the jw double life?
by obiwan ini was the prime example, if you looked in the dictionary under double life, my face would be right next to it!
i would party on saturday night, and drag my butt to the sunday meeting hungover.
does anyone here know how hard it is to answer a question during the wt study hungover?
-
tinkerbell82
absolutely. no one in my high school ever had a clue that i was a JW. everyone thought i was such a little model witness, but really i was your typical baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad little troublemaker.

I think one law would be you eat what you kill.
now that's what i call a good rule. something tells me your country would be populated with lots of vegetarians. :P
i wouldnt want to rule my own country. i'm not cut out for making rules, i'm much happier having someone else do the boring work. ;)
