timothy busfield came into the Gap i worked at when i was seventeen. me and my friend justin were ringing people up at the register, and we both knew we knew him from somewhere, but we both guessed wrong....i thought he was chuck norris (embarrassing!!!!!) and justin thought he was pat sajek (haha more embarrassing!!!!!!) we both felt sooo stupid. he's like, um, no, i'm that guy from thirtysomething........oh my god, i just cringe thinking about it.

Have YOU Ever Met Up With Anyone Famous
by RAYZORBLADE inhave any of you on this forum, ever met up with anyone considered famous?
i've met a great deal of people over the years.
one of my most memorable: dennis leary, drinking a few pints with him as he sang "margaritaville" from the jukebox.

Women look nicer in other towns
by JH in.
when you travel to other cities, do you find that women or men look nicer or more sexy than in your home town?
maybe it's because we see new butts faces, that give this illusion.. so, is the grass greener elsewhere?

I'm Spoiled Can You Tell?
by Valis inso i have big problems with our school's online learning software..it basically sucks real bad and this semester has been terrible.
all my docs for my class disappeared when they "upgraded the system...it is a mess.
we couldn't even access it until the very first day of class, which coincided with the sobig virus calamity..very irritating and hard for me to get any continuity going on.

"We Miss You".....
by minimus inthat's what i'm starting to hear.
my mother has had a number of people asking her where our family has been.
"have they been attending another hall?

ah, the old "you're missed". they can't get you back with the theology, so they try the emotional tack. my mom still does this every once in a while. "oh, so and so was asking about you at the meeting the other day. they sure do miss you!" uh, ma, i havent stepped foot in a KH for over three years now. the "miss you" thing is not gonna cut it. ;) it's kind of amusing though. i just have to remind myself that "the congregation misses you" is witness code for "love you".

here's something from the watchtower's official site - here's the link as well http://www.watchtower.org/library/w/1988/4/15/article_01.htm
Cutting off from the Christian congregation does not involve immediate death, so family ties continue. Thus, a man who is disfellowshipped or who disassociates himself may still live at home with his Christian wife and faithful children. Respect for God's judgments and the congregation's action will move the wife and children to recognize that by his course, he altered the spiritual bond that existed between them. Yet, since his being disfellowshipped does not end their blood ties or marriage relationship, normal family affections and dealings can continue.

We can’t just take the beliefs and choose from column A and then some from B. You know what we believe. That’s not how we do things, we need to accept all that is written.
this just blows me away!!!! i'm totally stunned. girl, i sent you a pm, but im'a do some quick research and then send you another soon.
