Whacky Reasoning to Blame it all on Men!!
by patio34 inhere's a really far-fetched, entertaining, unproveable (but maybe disprovable!
) theory i've been mulling over: .
point #1: large breasts may be superfluous in women.
-
tinkerbell82
I find it interesting that some women love their large breasts and show them off... enjoying every bit of attention they get... yet others hate the attention their breasts attract.
i think that depends on a lot of factors. i read a study once about the difference betwen girls and boys who develop early in life, physically speaking. it stated that often time boys who develop early will go on to take leadership roles and their peers look up to them, while girls who develop early are more likely to be shy and self-conscious, and do not as often take on positions of leadership. i dont know how true this necessarily is, but my own experience supports it...i was one of those early developers myself, and as a result i've always been painfully self conscious about that sort of attention. just my convoluted two cents.
the thing that cracks me up is the whole phenomenon of fake breasts...a lot of my friends have gotten them, and for some reason theyre all really nonchallant about people looking at them...it's like they have no emotional attachment to them anymore, if that makes any sense......not that i'm saying that's the case with all women who have implants, i'm speaking purely from my own experience. :)

Small congregations, lots of work
by JH in.
did you ever belong to a book study or even a congregation that had limited resources, and you had to do most of the work, like reading at the book study all the time because there was a lack of brothers, having to make more comments than the average, because no one else would have answered, or even saying the prayer more often than your turn.
did you ever feel as if your congregation or book study didn't have enough depth?.
-
tinkerbell82
well, i always felt like my congregation lacked depth, even though it was large.
but when i was a kid my family used to work unassigned territory in Nebraska (yuck!) every summer, and the congregation there was TINY, we had to do EVERYthing!

my grammy had a nervous breakdown
by jwbot inmy fathers mother, my grammy...had a nervous breakdown recently.. she is a witness, although been inactive.
well aparently, from what my witness mom says, she went to a funeral in a catholic church and the guilt was too much for her.
and also "hanging around your aunt terry" - the disfellowshipped one.. so guys, now disfellowshipped people and catholic churches cause nervous breakdowns.. she couldn't even see that its this unbareable guilt that the publishing company force on the people that caused the nervous breakdown.
