The creator gave us life, no? And he provided us with our senses to enjoy life no?. I understand that there are many ways to feel about the human experience. I fell anfry about the way things are but at the same time somtimes I love God for giving me life. I am happy to be alive and love God for it.

The Idea of God.
by Blueblades inthe idea of god is either a fact,like sand,or a fantasy,like santa.. the idea of god has guided or deluded more lives,changed more history,inspired more music and poetry and philosophy than anything else,real or imagined.it has made more of a difference to human life on this planet,both individually and collectively,than anything else ever has.. to see this clearly for yourself,just try this thought experiment:.
suppose no one in history had ever conceived the idea of god.now,rewrite history following that premise.the task daunts and staggers the imagination.
.from the earliest human remains----- religious funeral artifacts-----to the most recent wars in the mideast,religion----belief in a god or gods----has been the mainspring of the whole watch that is human history.. if the idea of god is a fantasy,a human invention,it is the greatest invention of all human history.. there are only two possibilities,"to be or not to be",that is the question.. blueblades

First by saying The Societ or the WTS we actually mean the annointed represented by the fds who mysteriously is God's agency who is an eartlty representaion of the Messianic Kingdom. This agency uses the legal corporations as a means of dispensing food at the proper time and to preach the gn of the kingdom. The fds no longer holds any office in the wts or the other corps formed (to stash the cash and to make it mored idiificult to sue). BY proxy JWS represent God on earth. No the GB or the annointed but the JWS as an org however the g claims to be the channel that God uses to communicate with humans today by progreesive light enabeling them to understand his WORD. Jesus claimed to be the Messiah and his claim stood up. Jws repersented by the GB claim to be annoined heirs a corulers of the Messianic kingdom having authority given to them by JC. Can you discredit these claims? I dont think it could be done.

well, the mental picture this painted was far too much for me to bear, so i encouraged her to save her red polka-dotted "unmentionables", not only because she might need them in the future, but because i didn't think she'd have to go that far to get his attention.

God was the conclusion ancient humans came to based on observation and to explain the mysteries and the unexplainable. For example, the human mind in the quest to find the causitive beginning of life concluded GOD. . Why did people get sick? Ancient humans did not understand medicine hence they concluded God. why some years crops good other years crap, people concluded God. Horrible plagues volcanoes earhquakes floods, conclusion horible God and so on.. hence people wanted to appease and befriend GOD and devised worships. Again as I said before God is not an idea but an attempt to find answers and solutions to mysteries.
Explaining the NATURE of God is another issue. People conjured up the personalties of gods they though were reponsible. But waht all humams agrre on is God as the answer although six men went to see the elephant though all of them were blind.

What Ways Did Jehovah's Witnesses Make You Feel Guilty???
by minimus ini believe that many religions try to make their adherents feel guilt.
and of course, the witnesses are no different and imo, are more guilty than most.
people go to a meeting during a snowstorm because the elders feel it's not that bad.

What Is The Stupidest Rule You've Encountered As a Witness?
by minimus inone rule that i never could understand is that if you were studying with an unbelieving husband, you could associate with him, even as couples, but if a person was considered a "weak" witness, it was best to avoid any association until that person changed......what dumb rule or belief comes to your mind??

by fearnotruth22 ini thought that the wts had all of the answers, but now i dont know anything for sure, i am comnvinced though of the existence of god and that thers is more to life than what we are experiencing now.
but i am not going to get imvolved in the mechanics of worhiping god via religion joining them or to get enveloed in those believes .
i have a simple philosophy.
