The Disfellowshipping of Jane

i was preparing comments on another thread and some strange memories started to surface.

one that had haunted me years ago was the disfellowshipping of jan. she was a 30 something woman who had found herself single when her husband ran off with her good friend.

jane was no angel herself though: a slim, suntanned, blonde headed, party girl who's life style had made her quite familiar with the judicial process, which is how jane and i became more acquainted.

Ghost: I sympathyse with you and it is ahorible thing to be fgriiled about things one has done and is embarrassing to talk about and we feel its no ones buisness and something atht will be held against us perpetiually.I would have the done the same thing you did. IM not going to tell others about my sexual actions and details. But if you want to be part of the WT, those are the rules.

But do not be fooled by the appearnce of an elder that seemms to be the nice elders. They are all in cahoots for the most part, one plays the role role of the good elder and an othe rthe role of the stern elder. Do not be fooled by appearances.

In JC, the elders are looking for EVIDENCE. Either self incrimination or other AND to establisg the specific sin that tou are going to be founf guilty of AND to determine if you are repentant.

They will discuss their feelings this among themselves and mot with you. Do not thinks that you can detect their feelingsby the way they appear to you.

Education and scruples are different. Some doctors and lawyers and other the like are perverts and have commited hineous crimes, while other meek and uneductaed people hold the highest vakues and show themselves to be more human than the educated. Remmember Dr. mangler.

Besides, sexual arousal has nothing to do with education. Im sure GY male doctors get aroused when seeing the genitals of beautiful women.

Also elders may get aroused when asking sexual questions to beautful sister but the point is that although that may happen, there are questions that must be asked by the JCommitee. What is not proper is for the JC to ask questions or to pry for the specific purpose of getting sexual gratification.But doibg ones job is not improper. I agrre that the conduct of elders is inproper sometines but so is the conduct of the educated. Some elders are doctors, lawyers, engineers, architects, Rocket Scientists, Phds, teachers, you name it, but inproper conduct has nothing to do with ones education.

OBGY docs have to pry into the vagina to do their jobs, inevitably some enjoy the job more that others., but it has to be done.

Elders cannot beat round the bush and are not prying when in the course of a judicial hearing they ask specific questions whether the enjoy asking such questions or not, it is their job.

i am planning on organizing an organization for jw's.

only requirement is that members had to be a baptized jw at one time.

Lisa there is a difference betwwen WT rules and the individual jws that follow them.Don't misunderstand. Many Jws that post on this board are still active jws, going to meetings etc,. And there are many other jws that are in bethel, inactive , irregular that are not df but do not share all of the same views of the WT. The JW Society would not exclide these jws or make it a requiremnet to be a WT opposer WE do not want to shun or seperate jws and exjws. You may not have the same view as a jw going to meetings but the JW society views all its member as jwswhether in or out of the truth

We cant tell non members how to treat us. But our doors our open to ALL jws in or out of the truth. You dont have to become a member, but you qualify to join the JW society if you were ever baoptized.

WE feel that the plunge is something that unites ALL jws for life, df or da cannot break the bond between fellow jws . Anyway that is how jws are viwed in this Society. You may consider yourself an x jw becuase the wt has shunned you or because you dont agree with wt rules ,or left the org, that is up to you. All we can telll you is that you qualify to be part of us and if you need our help as a member of the Jw society, you can request assitance.

Bed wetting?

any one in here who was raised as a jw ever have a problem with bed wetting growing up?

I did pee pee n my bed until I was 13. My parents tried everything to make me stop. from beatings to uinating on a hot brick and having me smell the urine vapor to having me wear pampers. I could not drink water at night and all kinds of crazy things my parents tried.

At the age of 13, I saw an ad in a newspaper abut help for bedwetters once with a phone number. I called the number saying that I was calling to for my brother who had the problem.

I finally confesses to the man over the phone that it was me the bed peer. I wanted to know how much it would cost for the cure> he asked me what was I doing now to stop peeing in my bed. I told him what my parents wereputting me through. He told me to drink all the water I wanted at night and that I could pee on the mattress all that I wanted, they would be able to give us as many mattresses as I ruined. And not to fell embarresed about peeing in bed if my parents told others about it.

I told my parents what the man said. They hesitated about me drinking water at night but I drank about 3 glasses full. I never wetted my bed again,

the man called back acouple of months later saking me how wasI doing. I told him that I stopped. But I never thanked him because I did not relaize how much he helped me back then. Never again evr not even a drop.

It goes back to 1973 when Bobby Fisher was on the news, most Bethelites took up chess and Brooklyn Bethel had bethelites playing chess all over the place, hence the socirt came up with that article and all of a sudden Bethelelies got their minds off che3ss and stopped palying the game, and a lot of bros stopped playing too because of their christrian trained conciencesd would not allow it. I played however but no one ever hassled me.

it is true that the society owns 10'0s of millions of $ to say the least in real estate, and monetary funds used to run the org.

but can anyone substantiate that the wt has billions of dollars in moneys such as cash in bank accounts, in stocks?.

if so, how does the wt justify having all of that wealth while most of humanity is in dire need?

Why is it so important to preach an urgent lifesaving message spanning 3 centuries collecting vvoluntary contributions, and not be concerned with human suffering leaving that up to God and blaming SAtan and the governments for it insteasd of releaving human suffering as much as possible. It seems to my rear end that what is urgent is not the future 100s of years later when millions now living are dead, but the present needs of people.

What do you think? What should the WT do with its billions since the preaching work has not been as urgent or as important as they said in the past?

A former president of the USA assured the American people that he never had sex with that girl. His pwrsonal definition of sex was not in agreement with the legal definition. Nevertheless he went on to serve 4 more years with the spiritual help of Jesse Jackson.

An appealing woman that spend a night naked with another man in the same bed with him and confesses to doing his thing, even if she did nothing committed adultery according the the ks.and if she was my wife she did his thing even if she didnt.do anything

A JC that has established gult does not df for that reason according to wt guidelines, but the df is based on nonrepentance.But since elders cant read the heart how can they df if they dont know if the person was truly repentant, thus the valve it is better to err on the side of mercy.

Point is that guilt has nothing to do with df.

Here is the thing: the vile act does not determine a dfing but its whether the person was repentant on or before the judicial meeting

Bluebalades, all orgs get money, But the JW Sociey although acknowledging God, also realizes that that they will use their political connections, power, wealth and whatever nonviolent means or influnce they have for their achievements, the interests of jws, and not for building a religious empire placing so called Nethinims to rule over corporate billions.

JW Society Administrators are nor sscam artists, and the JW Society is not a Scam. Scams dont last.

Administrators of the JW Society are not appointed by God, they get to be in office like those running any org. However, the JW administratror must have a sincere desire and love to help jws and his job is to advocate jw interests worldwide. He must must ave been a bptized jw. The JW Society is not a competetive WT org and the Administrators are not elders and not Bozo's either running the JW Society in the WT org syle.

The JW Society truly wants to help jws. It will advocate the rights, the wishes, the prosperity of jws worldwide. Members may have to unite and use the power of voting, boycotting, or whatever lawful actions are necessaary to promote jw causes in the meantime as jws have waited patiently for divine action since 187? I think.
