Are JW"S coerced to refuse blood transfusions?
by fearnotruth22 injesus showed the intended purpose of god's laws, when he worked on the sabath, avoided answering the tax question, forgave sinners that were commanded to be put to death by god's law, etc.
what jesus showed when he seemed to be offending god to fanatics was that saving life is more important that obedience to laws.
whatever god meant when he enjoined "abstinance from blood" to christians as belived by the wt, or when he commanded noah not to eat blood, and whatever the meaning is for people today of the laws that prevent the eating of blood and restricted the use of blood, certainly, based the way that jesus showed how god's laws should be applied, it makes sense that god did not mean that one should obey blood laws when eating or transfusing blood is the only means at hand to survive.

Lady Lee:
I expressed my concern some years ago to a sharp elder that somehow the state could force blood upon my child if he was ever in the hospital and needed it. He looked at me disturbed and told me not to worry that the state takes power and does what it wants. Reflectlibg back at exactly what he told me and how he worded it, I realize what his personal view on blood was at that time.

THe spiritualization of Armagedon likening those slain at armagedon to those that leave the truth acuple of years ago, and in the old 197? WT study article, how God would not save individuals at Armagedon but ALL of the JWS together as a nation.individual casualties would occur. But dont worry die faithful and you will be resurrected LATER. Het doesnt this sound like what Moslem tell suicide bombers die now but get the reward when you are dead OH MAN

Are You Involved In Politics At All?

yet, i've always been very interested in politics (more than i should've been as a witness).

Also I as a staunch jw never was involved in politics ever, BUT NOW, seeing this in another perspective, may decide to use politics as a means to get some releif now. If I need to get involved I may have to. But if I dont, Ill stay out.
