Oh for sure he'll get more hits to his next video than average. YouTube pays about $3-5 per 1k views on videos with ads. So it's in his best interests to keep up the drama, knowing it will continue to drive people to and through his channel... In the short term.

He'll probably continue to have a steady stream of collaborators too, but the boots-on-the-ground types will steer clear unless they're willing to overlook his ongoing bullying and melodrama.

But he's burned so many bridges - here, reddit, who knows where else, and with individuals who did cross-channel collabs with him, he's going to have trouble just maintaining his current SM influence, nevermind growth.

Couldn't wish it on a more worthy potato.

Simplest explanation for the Branch rep at the JC is there was no Branch rep. He lied to big himself up as a badass apostate. More views - more revenue. If he had recorded the JC, it would have exposed his big lie.

WT doesn't care about Lloyd. They disfelliowship more people every year than the number of subscribers JLE was able to accumulate in 10 years. He's had a Patreon for how many years and he was just approaching 1000 contributors? LMFAO! I know of tumblr artists who have 10k, 20k, 30k patrons who watch them paint.

The only reason that potato is big news is he's bullied so many people that the schadenfreude is thick enough to slice.

And conspiracies aside, the simplest explanation is DE is also disordered/dysfunctional and doesn't GAF except that she has whatever it is she wants. And JLE... Well as long as people are still giving attention, a malignant narcissist doesn't really distinguish that much between positive and negative attention. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He's still got his 700 people who are willing to give him at least $1. I'd bet at least $1 that 100 of those are still subscribed because they never log in to Patreon, or they're sticking around for the dramaz.

I was thinking today about the trafficking stats someone posted earlier. I forget the exact numbers and which thread, but say it was something like 40%

Accurate statistics are, for obvious reasons, hard to collect, but reasonable estimates say that between 40-60% of sex workers in Thailand are underage, with up to 90% being trafficked ie: enslaved.

This does not take into account the number of enslaved sex workers whose trafficking began when they were underage, but they are currently older than 18.

Any way you view those statistics, not a good look for our friend and his uncontrollable peen.

his wife, a spiritually strong person, had no problem answering the questions, but robert found himself constantly embarrassed, not knowing what to say.".

there is no indication of how she fits the template of a spiritual person other than she can answer bible trivia.

Need advice/opinions about DF Husband who woke up

my husband was df 3 years ago.

i still attended meetings but not regularly and for the past 10 months i have not attended any at all.

my husband wanted to get reinstated until maybe a few months ago when i started to help him to wake up.

Do you think it would be good for him to go back, jump through the hoops to get reinstated, just so he can have some fake friends who would throw him under the bus the second they knew what he really thought? The effort it would require to get back in good with the JWs, just so you could have friends, could be spent in so much more interesting ways, such as joining a hobby club or special interest group where you both could make friends that wouldn't being lying liars who lie, and who might actually like you both for real.

much more likely that this is the classic anti-woman rhetoric that she needs to demonstrate submissiveness by dumbing herself down so her husband can retain his Man-of-the-Household ego.

Withdrawing community support in the congs

i've noticed in the past 10 years that the social support that used to be available in the congs, a shoulder to cry on, elders to help with family/marriage issues these seem to have been purposely withdrawn.

counsel is even heard from the platform that the elders are not there to help people with their problems.. so first in the 80s-90s they take away the congregation get to getters and social events and now they seem to be going one step further in taking away the emotional support for people too.. this will take away an aspect that i'm sure was keeping alot of people in the borg, the community support.

if that's not there and its just about meetings and ministry how many will start to get their emotional support elsewhere?.

Letters Project - What do I say to my family

hey my old friends, i figured since this is where we landed when we first fled the watchtower, looking for support, back in '03, maybe i should pop back in and show you my latest project - i see some familiar faces around here.

i've been working on a website to function as part story, part news.

my plan is to feature what people are doing to integrate/reintegrate into their community - whether that's remaining in the xjw circles to help others who are leaving, or moving out into the larger social sphere and starting projects, being activists for other causes, etc.

JW's are slaves- but not in a good way

i was reading about the american slave trade again recently.

as anyone who has read anything about the subject knows, it makes for very uncomfortable reading.

every time i read the history, i'm left with a sense of outrage and seething anger at the pure inhumanity and injustice of what life must have been like for those people.

They even use the language of the slave trade, calling all of the positions "overseer," instead of more traditional religious terminology like deacon, priest, pastor, minister, bishop.
