Korean News : CoC in Korean
by AntiEntropy inhi bros.. after my father's publishing his book, "15 questions after 40 years of jw" , many ex-jw bros in korea became motivated to rush to the coc korean project.
however any secular project needs a fund eventhough it's a not-for-profit.
fortunately, a bunch of bros decided to donate generously $300~$7,000 to this unprofitable business.

UN Library again... The "NGO Resource Center"
by AntiEntropy inas we know, there were at least 2 ways to enter the un ngo bldg : 'ground pass' and 'library pass'.
and the 'ground pass' matters was dealt by many posts in old times.
basically, the policy of 'library pass' had not been chaged before 9.11 as we read.. however, some pro-jws have been insisting that it was not the un ngo bldg.

Basically, the policy of 'library pass' had not been chaged before 9.11 as we read.
However, some pro-JWs have been insisting that it was not the UN NGO Bldg. that Ciro and his friends wanted to enter but it was a different Bldg. to which "NGO Resource Center" had moved from UN NGO Bldg. They're saying it was 'gound pass' that WT desparately needed, so desparately with knowledge that their decision must let many lambs leave JW.ORG.
By Dana Loytved's old letters, we could learn that inferior to 'ground pass', 'library pass' couldn't let its holders access to "NGO Resource Center" if it were located in a different Bldg. I guess you understand their reasoning related with it.
I can't trace its origin but their quotation is like the below :
- Greetings from the Dag Hammarskjöld Library, The "special area" referred to in the brochure is probably the "NGO Resource Center". This Center used to be located in the Library Building (not the actual library itself), but has since been moved to a different building. (......) Accredited members of NGOs with valid UN grounds passes, however, are also allowed to visit the Dag Hammarskjöld Library and to use our resources on site. Best Regards,
- -Ashley Rode-
I could make sure that "NGO Resource Center" moved once and it is not in the NGO Bldg. now but I can't find when it moved.
Questions :
- Is "NGO Resource Center" really a "special area"?
- I guess it's a just very convenient information center for delegates of DPIs. Moreover, there are other "NGO Resource Centers" in other nations like India and Vietnam.
- Pro-JWs are insisting that the centers have exclusive information which can't be acquired in other ways, though I found the below tips.
- When "NGO Resource Center" moved to the present location?
- Although it was not a special thing, I can make a better ague if that center moved after 1991.

Hi Bros.
After my father's publishing his book, "15 Questions after 40 years of JW" , many ex-JW Bros in Korea became motivated to rush to the CoC Korean project. However any secular project needs a fund eventhough it's a not-for-profit. Fortunately, a bunch of bros decided to donate generously $300~$7,000 to this unprofitable business. They also participated into the hard translation which was due to Rutherford's bad English ^^;;
It's done at late.
We established a publishing company and published CoC Korean by that entity. By this project, I thankfully could learn how to run a publishing company.
I'm a stock keeper. I kept the stock in the spare space in my office. I'm really honored to ship all the ordered books with the hands of mine and my wife just like Raymond did.
If you have any Korean-speaking ex-JW/JWs, you may introduce this news to them.
Let's keep up the good work by our Christian [OR] non-Christian Love!

Thinking of writing a book about jw's, what should I put in it?
by purrpurr ini've just finished reading alan miller's "fade from the truth", i enjoyed it and i love that it's freely available.
so i was thinking of writing a book of my own.
not an account of my life but more a simple step by step look at jw's and what they are really like?

Korean news with my story...
by AntiEntropy ini joined this site 12 years ago and i revisited it yesterday to get some information on coc's status.. .
frankly saying, i've tried to be a complete ex-ex-jw so that ex-jw things would not drive my life mad.
due to my linguistic barrier of writing in a foreign language, 12 years ago, i could not but read and read and read this site.

To All,
Thanks for your warm replies.
There's a big mistake in my post. It was not 30 years. It was "15 Questions after 40 years of JW".
Sorry... 30 years belongs to mine ^^;;
As we progress in CoC Korean, I'd like to share the results with you by posting.
Thanks.
Ray Ryu,
P.S.
In regards to "Conscientious Objection" of mine,
I was imprisoned from Mar, 1995 to Nov, 1997. The life was very similar to that of the movie, "The Shawshank Redemption, 1994". I worked as a librarian just like Bird in the film. I even did homework of guardians who were studying in graduate schools of Penology. Yes, I got 2 cans of beer for my special service just like the film ^^;;
With the criminal record, I could not think to even try to join Samsung but I don't think I lost that much. Rather I'd like to see the bright side of my special experience. I sometimes feel sad when I see bros are still suffering Post-Prison-Syndrome. I had it also but I think I've overcome mostly.
Still young Korean JWs are going prison on that "Religious Objection". JW Korea branch is eager to gain the right of alternative service. Though I don't support JW, I support the legislation of it for humanitrian reason. However I'm projecting very that legislation will loose JW youths minds and they will leave Org. ever more. Just my thought...

I guess he's not going to go that far. The world of English is bigger than that of Korean especially in terms of ex-JW information. ^^;;
