Since everyone else seems to have not a clue on the question, here it is. You want to know whether Jesus is a false god or a true god.
1. The title god is not the be all and end all, it is simply a title meaning 'mighty one'
2. The verser at John 1v1 in the original greek speaks of the word (logos) being 'theos' , the word theos means divine. Thus John 1v1 is saying Jesus (the word) is divine. Since someone who is divine and God's Son is aptly a 'mighty one' he can be described as 'a god' with a small g as it is accurate. As opposed to the true God, with capital G. Thus Jesus is not God, but simply a 'god', Paul spoke of many gods and many lords, as these are titles only.
See if that helps.
