Should I be with someone who's had lots of pervious partners?

thanks for reading (i'm sorry this is a little bit of a sensitive topic, though i'll try to be gentle.).

a little back story.

i have been working so hard to build my faith this year, and i am finally at the point where i am beginning to trust god and i want to build an unbreakable relationship with him.

I am just going to answer the question!!!

My first wife didn't know anything about JW's until she was 17, and started to study, and got baptised. She had been with a number of guy's, starting at the age of 12. We got married when we were both 20. I had never even seen another girl naked, except my sister. So I didn't have a clue what to do with my new wife!! The first time I saw her totally naked, she laid down on the bed, and said, I'm all yours! I really didn't know what to do, and for some reason she thought I too had been with others girls. When I told her that i hadn't, she smiled and said that's OK I can teach you!!! And she did!! That was the best four years of my life.

Sadly she just up and left one night, while i was at work. No note nothing. It was 20 years later, before I saw her again. All those years of first blaming her, then myself. Only to find out, she had grown to HATE the borg, and was scared to tell me. I really think if she had told me, I would have left it with her!! I still love her, and will till the day i die!!!

One day convention and..

my wife went off to.. and returned without being cranky this is unusual..and gave me a strange look or two.. most unusual.. i can only hope she has heard something that has caused her to realize that i may be onto something..one can only hope..

We are supposed to go to one this weekend, but thankfully, a major winter storm, will be coming in Friday, and dumping ice and snow.

I so wish it could be easy, and I could just walk away!!!

if you were called before the muller probe, could you come up with the small amount of $100,000+ dollars to get an attorney to represent you?

Muller and company will threaten your Family with the same treatment, along with your Friends and Business Associates!

After Hours and Hours of grilling over and over about the same stuff, with the most hostile prosecutors you can imagine, for hours. how many little simple mistakes will you make in repeating your responses again and again!

If that's not enough to get you to start making stuff up, you're going to be charged with what's called a Process crime, that can get you put in prison, and heavy fines.

I know a couple of people that have been through this type of stuff! They had their lives and families rip apart, for nothing!!

Pure Worship restored only for English-speaking?

gb recent presents new book "based ezekiel" - pure worship restored.this book also provide into jw-borg site and jw-lib too, but only english.as examle, spanish - it`s second largest language into us and america continents, but has no translated into it.do you have any idea why this could happen?

they hide something, or just did not have time to translate (but previously published in all major languages at the same time).

It written in NY by english speaking people, so it's understandable that it would be released in it first.

It used to be years sometimes before anything new from NY turned up in other languages. Sometimes, New Light had already FLASHED FORTH, and the book just wasn't made into other languages!! HAHAHAH

THE DC/RC's used to be around a year behind for most of the world, and so were the wt's and many others!!

The Public Talks

i remember when i use to give a number of public talks.

i had a binder with every public talk listed by number in it.

i don't have it anymore.. when i did the fade in 2002 after 33 years a slave since 1969. i destroyed all my watchtower materials and i had a lot.

I remember back in the mid/late 60's, sometimes "brothers" just made up talks, and named them as well.

CO's used to make up a lot of their own talks, but then it got down to they had a few outlines they could pick from, for the Tue & Thur meeting's, as well as the after talk on Sunday. But they still made up the local talk, with suggested, point's to pick from.

On part's at the RC's they only want young fit people on stage, for any live demo's or experiences!

A couple of years back, my mother in law was ask to tell her life's story. When it came time to go over it with the CO and DO, The DO informed the brother that was to interview her, that he needed someone younger and in better shape!!

It crushed mom in law!! But it never even intered her mind to question the BORG!!!

1975—Were You Affected By What 1975 Was Supposed to Bring?

The congregation that I was in leading up to 75, was a very small, very poor one. Every meeting just about really hammered the "End is Near" and how it's so much more important to be out in the preaching work than ANYTHING. Those of us turning 16 in the last few years before 75, were encouraged to quit school, and start pioneering. I was already living in a small boarding house, going to school and working part time. So the day I turned 16 I quit, and dived head first into the 100 hour a month pioneer service. What I really wanted to do was finish school, and go on to college to be an engineer!! OH god do I wish I had done what I wanted to do. Instead I stayed the course and jw land was it. I feel for it all hook line and sinker.

There was one young brother in the nearest KH to mine, that dared to go off to college. he was treated as if he was Df'ed, and indirectly talked about how ,unfaithful he was. He did very well in college, and for some reason stayed in borgland. After getting starting a very well paying career, all of borgland welcomed him with open HAND's reaching for money!! And he paid his way into the CO/DO work after leaving full time work at 40, with a big bank account. He had 3 kids that all left as they turned 18.

My first few were of the full hour format, then changed. I stopped after having a major back injury in 94.

I loved public speaking, that's the one good thing I learned growing up in borgland. I don't do any public stuff anymore. I did a few Microsoft events at trade shows, and a few at consumer shows as well. I always loved being able to put teckie stuff into words everyone understood. If I had lived in a larger area, I would have gotten to do much more!!!
